Like JE.ORG does not push others to buy a computer!

IF you MUST play "Angry Birds" during the meetings, please mute the sound.

dropoffyourkeylee, no kidding. I helped hubby download the PDF on to his iBook and the thing isn't even broken in to chapters! I showed hubby a nifty workaround. We unwrapped the grey bible, I looked up the page he was looking for, and used the GoTo feature in PDF to get to the right page.

Be sure to download the latest ANGRY BIRDS saga, "After Armageddon - Birdseed."

Wouldn't that warrant creating a JW version, "Happy (Bloated) Birds"?

My congregation has quite a few people on Gov't assistance, and for sure they would be jealous, er, stumbled if I used my Ipad on the platform.
Some have already approached me to lay claim to my Ipad should I want to replace it for an upgrade. But, they have made it clear that they can't give you any money for it.

Funny how a few years ago they had a big hubbub at the district convention about staying away from buying the latest gadget/iphone. They even used an exaggerated big ass manual to show how time consuming it all was. Now, that same techology can be used from the very platform they condemned it from. Nice work Watchtower.

Only among Jehovah's Christian Witnesses do you see an effort made to dumb-down EVERYTHING to the lowest common denominator rather than raising all in the congregaion to a higher level of intelligence, thoughtfulness and understanding. The WTB&TS kowtows to the uneducated, superstitious, nosey and mean-spirited, whom they permit to lead others by "taking offense". These spiritual weaklings need a spiritual slap in the face and stronly-worded instructions to grow up.

Seems like not that long ago the banned using printouts of scriptures (esp any circulating online) because publishers needed to know how to use their own Bibles.
Now it's OK to just pull up the info on your smartphone.
