Hmmm... this has kept me busy before I went to sleep. I do not understand and yet I do:
I do not understand how someone wants to return to JW's since they are proved to be a scam
I do understand because being out of it may create a vacuum. staying in too long may cause some serious trauma's.
All I can say is: Slimboyfat, I hope you will fare well and will be happy one day.
If it is a troll then I want to say that it is not a funny one ;)

This is sad news. Slimboyfat and I had our differences and he struck me as being quite conflicted (hence the "semi-apologist" suggestions, which he seemed to entertain to some extent) but there's no doubt he's an intelligent guy with a great deal to offer the ex-JW community.
If this is all true and not some elaborate hoax as some are suggesting, then it smacks of coercion. You don't go from making anti-Watchtower posts one minute to jettisoning your intellect and falling into the embrace of the organization the next without some external influence, in my opinion.
We might never know what has been going on behind the scenes, nor do we have a right to know. But I have a feeling we haven't seen the last of slimboyfat, and I wish him all the best in his journey.
