THe part that would get me if I returned for family is I would always wonder why I returned and destroyed my inner self for people who obviously do not love me. If someone says, they want to leave me because of the GOD I worship I could not respect them. I wouldn't want to look at them everyday. Eventually I would get frustrated and then give up on the marriage or family.
IF it was my children, I could risk losing them with the hope that eventually they would wonder why I left and make a decision that would make their lives moer positive. Even if I was dead when it happened. I would not want my children to look at me with hate because I continued to do somethign I knew was detrimental to them.
However, I can imagine my views are in the minority and I may be a smidge extreme in my reasoning. I wish the guy the best I just hope he is able to keep things together

Let's suppose for a second, that JWs actually had "the truth". Well, no one would have an xJW website, no one would leave an actual truth they found or were shown by God, it would be the truth!
Yes you could live forever in a warless perfect planet, you could have perfect health forever, you would be actually happy, you would meet relatives back to Noah and Abel, you could even resurrect your family pets, you could restore your favorite dog or cat or whatever:
(Romans 8:31-32) 31 What, then, shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who will be against us? 32 He who did not even spare his own Son but delivered him up for us all, why will he not also with him kindly give us all other things?
(Ezekiel 47:9) And it must occur that every living soul that swarms, in every place to which the double-size torrent comes, will get life. And it must occur that there will be very many fish, because there is where this water will certainly come, and the [seawater] will be healed, and everything will be alive where the torrent comes.
(Isaiah 34:15-16) There the arrow snake has made its nest and lays [eggs], and it must hatch [them] and gather [them] together under its shadow. Yes, there the gledes must collect themselves together, each one with her mate. 16 Search for yourselves in the book of Jehovah and read out loud: not one has been missing of them; they actually do not fail to have each one her mate, for it is the mouth of Jehovah that has given the command, and it is his spirit that has collected them together.
Too good to be true! Is anything though "too good" to be truth? I know my dogs certainly were a greater support to me than ANY elder I have EVER known. The truth would be the reason why people even would entertain a total restoration of life on planet Earth through the living Christ, not dead Adam any longer; (Matt19:28; Rom8:22-28; Rev22:1-3; Rev21:1-5).
Who would leave that assured future if it was actually "the truth"?
Suppose it was actually true? No one with half a brain would simply not drink of the eternal fountain of youth FREE!
(Revelation 22:17) And the spirit and the bride keep on saying: “Come!” And let anyone hearing say: “Come!” And let anyone thirsting come; let anyone that wishes take life’s water free.
But alas, Bethel reality. Bethel lawlessness. Betel hypocrisy. Bethel pedophile network. Bethel UN NGO. Bethel inquisition and shunning banishment. Bethel's modern "dictators of Sodom", Bethels lack of remorse and repentance, Bethel's infallible we are more "faithful and discreet" than any one on earth, Bethel's waffling and lies, Bethels brazen complacency and look busy act, Bethel's greed and intake of millions of JW dollars, Bethel's visuals and traditions, materiality and spiritual coma, Bethel based outcry and injustice. Bethel Jerusalem Pharisees of today! (Rev8:10-12; Zech3:1-3; 2Thess2:1-4).
"The truth" is the Bethel "sheep skin". They merely cover all the lies, with desirable truths! So the truth is there to draw in the now blinded sheep, but it is now buried under actual Betel lawlessness at global magnitudes and actually anti-Christian activities everyone sees but JWs.
But getting rid of that lawlessness completely for an actual recover of the base truths of God through Jesus Christ would take an "act of God" commensurate with a Jerusalem judgment, that still went into retrograde corruption in time after the recovery. But in the Bible, a judgment of God of "Biblical proportions" is a common theme of prophecies that are now world histories. To JWs divine judgment should also be "the truth", we have many former historical examples of it. In 70 CE Jerusalem was indeed scrubbed from the face of the earth by the Romans who actually did not "leave a stone upon a stone" in Jerusalem, but a couple trophies and garrison structures.
But today's JWs are like the Jews laughing and being offended by Jesus statement that Jerusalem would be razed to the ground. And it was. It is world history.
So it is not impossible for God to do the same thing to the JW worldwide Bethel system, and make an accounting to all the abused and beaten sheep, and even the world in general actually having a JW insult and crime committed against them as well with current Bethel lies and fraudulent ploys. It is not beneath Bethel's power to be also erased from the earth for crimes against God as well. And such a judgment would naturally be a world signal that God does not allow anyone to reproach His good name. Just stick in "Bethel" anywhere "Jerusalem" term is used in the Bible, it is far from impossible for God to decimate Bethel just as easily as Jerusalem, TWICE!
And any recovery would have to be leading in some short order to the actual Kingdom of God, because Adamic human retrograde corruption would in time repeat the same inclination to lawlessness, so it would logically be a final world signal of a truth of prophecy already programmed into a final, but precursor JW judgment to begin the whole final cycle. (1Pet4:17 would be the beginning of Rev8, as Rev8-11 over some years). And since gnat straining JWs and UN NGO Camel gulping Bethel were not the answer, anyone who wanted to explore the possibility of prophecy again becoming world history could have free access to a communal hub of others humbled into undeserved kindness, with no organizational "mediator" which ended up "lifting itself over everyone" as the main cause of the JW downfall already programmed into prophecies they apply to Jerusalem and Christendom, but are blind to apply to modern Bethel, the main enemy of God in modern times, using Bible truth to cover over their actual lawlessness.
Once those criminals in the Betel factional dictatorship are removed and fully exposed as the long awaited "evil slave", then in fact many people may very well return to an actual truth being clarified by fires (Zech3:1-7; Mal3:1-5) of justice and removal of the lie of Bethel and GB cell of lawlessness, that was hiding under truths that are actually true, and were the main Biblical reasons even deluded JWs keep coming back for more. But of course fear of man is also a persuasive element in many JWs even being at the Kingdom Hall for fear of banishment and curses, that if not present, JWs would probably be left with 2 million adherents who simply enjoy the JW lawless "operation of error" atmosphere of today; (2Thess2:11). Meaning in the heart, JWs numbers are far less than those counted at bean counter Bethel.
Thus as JWs preach of 1914-1918 as a deliverance out of "Babylon", ironically JWs of the future will preach a deliverance from Bethel, because Bethel is today's modern Babylon of coercion, confusion, dictatorship and darkness sold off with some "old light" and parrot talk of the past of the post 1914 era to currently light up the Bethel play and all the Bethel props currently fooling JWs to believe that Bethel center of even UN NGO harlotry, is actually "the truth".
So this "grand illusion" is not going to simply deconstruct itself, it must have a divine push.
In effect this removal of the lies imbedded now fully in the elements of Bible truth, would require a JW organizational desolation and recovery of "prophetic proportions" and God and Christ's direct involvement to actually recover "the truth" from the sea of Bethel wormwood of current lies (Rev8:10-11). Impossible for JWs and men, even unbelievable but clearly not impossible, or even unique in Bible history for God. In fact the doubt of such a judgment is also part of the former patterns leading to other judgments of the past! In fact the principle and concept is well known to JWs when applying the judgment to everyone else, forgetting where it MUST begin applied to JWs this time:
(1 Peter 4:17) For it is the appointed time for the judgment to start with the house of God.
JWs no longer play the game by Bible rules, but those divine patterns and mandates are what will override Bethel's core revolt against God and Christ. (Matt24:15). Bethel is the core breaker of the rules of the game. When rules are actually enforced by respect to each individual's conscience and own free will desire, many people would naturally "return to the truth" that was actually true.
Bethel and the GB are thus the core problem and falsehood actually stumbling people from what is even left of "the truth". They are the target of God who already foretold the purification must precede the actual "Kingdom come" a number of years prior to the actual "end". Everything is equaling Bethel is the divine powder keg, and God has the matches, and lawless time is the fuse burning down to Bethel's judgment, and all the world will see it just as in any divine judgment long before the actual "end of te system of things" because a recovery takes time, as will actual human world government actually culminating in the required full globalization, without which no "8th King" is actually an 8th King.
It appears Bethel lawlessness is instead actually the foretold precursor signal (2Thess2:1-4), in modern final form. -

Strange as human social behavior may be some people temporarily return to their religious roots for some reason or another, only to
eventually leave on a permanent basis down the road.
Its like they go into state of questioning who they really are or they need some time to re-investigate things for their own Peace of mind .
Particularly with having a spouse who's a devote member, the prevailing encouragement to return is always there and pressing .
Slim Boy was one of those people in my opinion.
Some people will return just to save something of their marriage which has gone down hill.

Many readers simply want to continue to worship Jehovah, as they firmly believe in him. Once they get out on the web, they may run into people trying to talk them into an immoral lifestyle....or anti-God thinking. This is highly distatasteful, and feels like true evil to them. Finding no faith in God, or the Bible 'out here' they go back to the believer's life, although full of tyrants, and much hypocrisy in some congregations.... at least these believe, and honor God as Jesus' first mentions in the Lord's prayer.
Don't you think some feel this way?
In their thinking, they choose to follow a ray of hope toward eternal life, love and goodness....as contrasted with foul speech, the illogical unreasonableness and self-centeredness of evolution,....and a fractured and licentious moral code, (or I should say IMMORAL code) which is extremely distasteful to 90% of these AND the populace ...still. .. although TV media is shoving the Gay lifestyle down viewer's throats... with a carpet-saturation on all networks and prime-time sitcoms. Of course no shows are featuring Amish, or Morman, or JW life....why not? Think about it....what is the spirit behind this demolition of Christian values? (2 Cor. 4:4)
People mostly choose not to do the 'smart ' thing...especially if there is no one available to show them some improvements on what they are now doing as far as worship of Jehovah goes. This we often call 'ignorance', not out of ridicule, but sadly, just facing the facts. Although not smart, many who stay in , just want to do the proper and MORAL thing. Believing with all their heart in God, and truth... per se.
Remember, both Christ and his Apostle Paul repeatedly showed the true disciples in the world would NOT be those wise in the world's sense. Many are just of lowly education, literacy, and have little time to pursue academia, or ancient language, etc. They have to rely on the more studious ones. So....we who are learned, must bear the torch of knowledge, and cause of liberty. Care to go somewhere some are ATTEMPTING to find the truth....and the real rebirth of spirit Christ talked about? What about core truths? (John 8:32) Do they really exist?

This group takes the TaTT truth to higher levels, I feel. Form your own opinion, please. It is not perfection, but a perfect ATTEMPT , ....to search for truth, and definitely full of spirited drive.
