"I'm guessing where the cheerleading was would be considered a private function"

It wasnt private. Most of the vendors and the bouncy hjouse... the cotton candy and the petting zoo were all business and they didn't pay to be there. It is a community event. Thhey could have went anywhere they wanted

Who in the hell would ruin they day especially on a beautiful day shown

by your pictures, talking about doom and glum. Families are enjoying

themselves with the kids. Go and preach to the homeless, try saving

them with your BS. Well maybe not, they need no more problems.

Yes time for a PA, or bullhorn... Maybe a phonograph or Kingdom DJ... Maybe free lemonade or popcorn... bigger sign? sign flipper? carwash girls? dancers? cheerleaders? mariachis? I do not know, maybe the disappearance of the web and Bethel may help.

What a joke. The average hours or preaching has risen over the last few years, and now these table and trolleys becomes more common I expect it will raise even further, but with even less conversions per hour.

You all DO realize this is the last Saturday of the month, right? Considering the alternative of walking door to door for eight hours, what better way to get that last-minute time than to set up a table in the shade, and hang out with fellow JWs at the park all day, talking to each other?

What a difference in the preaching work today and in the 60'and 70's.

Evening witnessing (door to door), standing in front of stores, working in front

of churches on Sundays. Covering our complete territory in two weeks.

I just don't know about todays JW's, no zeal, no joy in their work. LOL

You think it may be, they have no idea what the hell they are preaching.

I guess some people just aren't conscious of their spiritual needs.

OMG how pathetic is this. It's like a corporate version of your local nutty placard holding street preacher. JW's get more embarrassing by the year.

I remember when I was in South Florida, some brothers would just sit a bus stop with a magazine folder and wait for the householder to make a move before initiating a conversation.

Also, there was a brother I knew who lived within walking distance to a Publix store, he would sit on one of the outside benches for an entire day baking in the South Florida sun...spoke to one or two persons for an entire day....was a pretty easy way to rack up some hours....that's the same Publix I shopped.

Looking back at the photos that were posted...I actually think they're using the posters to hide themselves.

Have you considered that they were there to watch you for any brazen conduct that would allow them to DF you without the need for your signature on paper?
