In any given situation, if somebody in a group of witnesses takes the moral high ground and explains their stand to the others, the bobble heads start nodding and adopt the line of reasoning in font of the others. To disagree would not be spiritual.

Over the years Family Guy has dealt with this on air. They have said these shows were not intended for children and it is the parents job not theirs to monitor their kids TV viewing. I agree, South Park is so similar. South Park is a cartoon for adults, not really for kids. I also recall watching "The Grim adventures of Billy and Mandy" and loving it, but it is not exactly a child's cartoon, although it used to be shown on the cartoon network. B/c these shows are animated I think some people think they are cartoons and safe for kids. Not so. You can find animated porn on the net , it is still porn.

South Park spoofed on the three major Abrahamic faiths in a recent episode using of all things, the supposed "prophecy of the red heifer" (make that a 'ginger' heifer in South Park land):

South Park is a lot like the old SNL, they mess with everyone. I do recall the show on Islam ( some time ago) and it seems to me they did back off due to threats and they were fearful- not something that is common for SP or SNL.

Yeah, a couple of guys were sentenced to prison for threatening the creators of South Park over that episode:

So, watching a cartoon on TV means that we approve and agree with everything shown in it, however far fetched. Also, because it is a cartoon, it means it is designed for children despite warnings to the contrary, so we should sit and watch it with them then complain bitterly when the content proves to be totally unsuitable for them .
The whole point of ADULT cartoons being shown late at night when the children should be in bed is that it they are designed for ADULTS, and adults who watch cartoons usually have a good sense of humour. After all, a cartoon about a dog that acts like a man and has a higher IQ than its owner is obviously not meant to be taken seriously. The whole point about the sketch of a cocktail drinking dog named Brian dating a woman is because he is actually more of a man of the world than his owner which is a JOKE and has nothing to do with bestiality.
I think there should be additional warnings before the showing of these sort of cartoons that not only are they not suitable for children, but they are also utterly unsuitable for those among us of a religious disposition who have had a complete sense of humour bypass .

Maybe if you watched that one episode cuz that is pretty gross. I wouldn't watch it, not because I was afraid to be seen as condoning it, but just because I find it gross. Just like I won't watch game of thrones, because in the original book there was a lot (in detail) about a 13 year old getting raped by an adult guy. It's gross and offensive to me.

i agree Julia, a lot of what is shown on these type shows is just gross. American Dad is another one and there are more. However, I often find I enjoy South Park despite it all. They are animated TV for adults and not for kids. Someone pointed out- usually shown late at night. I do recall the Cartoon Network having some questionable cartoons on it. Billy and Mandy being one of them. I love Billy and Mandy but it is not a cartoon for kids. It is only in reruns now but should have been on what is called " adult swim " instead of the CN.

In the opening post ......
One sister says, "I was watching family guy with kids and the dog took home a human to have sex with. I was appealed!. If we engage in watching these shows it is as if we approve of their actions brothers. If you continue to watch this show you are into bestiality. Think about that in your prayers this evening"
Just another example of just how appointed self righteous JWS are self involved in.
Most people see a dog acting as a human satirically humorous. Lets face it the TV show Family Guy is NOT targeted
toward being a children's cartoon, its targeted toward adults or young adults.
The reason why you do see many adult themes in this TV show.
It does get humorously funny when you hear JWS spout off on things to exemplify their supposed spiritual righteousness.
Some get to be quite redundantly stupid and untruthful in their trying intent.
