Lost his mind... sorry for your spouse problem and I would like to welcome you on the board. It is hard to deal with JWs and they are irrational. Sometimes the divorce is the way out before the cult destroys both. However, have you tried to have one on one bible study without even touching anything published by WT? One thing is that JWs do not know much bible and their doctrines are irrational and contradicting. This could help him to see the fallacy of their reasoning.
I agree with you. It is a lie for the Watchtower Society to claim that "Jesus Christ is not the Mediator between Jehovah God and all mankind." 1 Timothy 2:5, 6 makes it clear: Jesus is our mediator.....Brother Jeramy

But, this is done to test our loyalty to Jehovah "whether these appear sound from a strategic or human standpoint or not."
