Rebel8: By reading JWN it's without doubt table of demons. Well, he means any kind of information apart from WT.
I told the elders that I would take blood and donate blood

They cannot disfellowship you (or da really) over blood because you have not taken it. They will try apostasy, but you have not been speaking to others except your wife. If there is JC tell them that you are not apostate or causing divisions, it was just a discussion regarding the life of your children in the remote chance of them requiring blood, when there are no other alternatives. They will say you are manifesting a dangerous attitude towards the slave. You can say it is just this one hypothetical situation and assure them not to worry.

No utensils.

D1555,
You definately put the elders on the horn of a dilema. Good work, your writting to the Org about the matter puts the onus on them and depending on what they write back may may them liable in a civil suit.

Frankiespeaking: In my letter to the branch I politely asked for them to answer some specific and hard questions (as I know their wishy washy answers). I doubt that they even send a reply because I sent the letter 2 months ago. Or maybe they will tell the CO or the elders to deal with it (who will not be able to give real answers as even the smartest of the HLC elders of our country couldn't).

D1555,
If they answer your inquiries save the letter as it may be helpful in the future for someone with a civil lawsuit over an enforced blood ban.

I'm imagining the look on the head guy's face; his left eyelids are twitching uncontrollably while a big purple vein is throbbing in the middle of his forehead.

Vidiot: Well I can tell you they don't like to talk about that subject, because the whole thing is unlogical from the core. I mean how can you truly say life is holy and then in the same sentence that you refuse blood products in a last resort situation. Moreover the whole fraction thing made it even more stupid.
