There is nothing remotely subversive in the talk you have prepared. Do yourselves a favor and step just a little out of the JW box. The religion does not build faith in Christ--the religion crushes Christ.
Bomb on the talk if you must, but don't give the talk you outlined here. Have some conviction about it--you will feel better about yourselves.

Jehovah's Witnesses show their support for Jesus by reading this scripture each Memorial. It clearly shows how that our forgiveness of sins is inextricably linked to membership in the New Covanant. The Watchtower teaches that the eight man governing body leading our organization have their sins forgiven by their membership in the New Covenant.

You: Well, we as rank and file members receive benefits and are given the priviledge of working for our salvation under their blessed direction. We have hope that one day we will be declared righteous if we remain in good standing with the elders.

In reality, if I could really speak my mind, I would tell the truth, which is, like you said, the religion does NOT build faith in Christ...
Hi ILoveTTATT, I find the title of the talk "The right religion demonstrates true faith in Christ" to be a little self-serving for religions. Is it possible to show how Jesus Christ viewed Jewish religious leaders as hypocrites because of the burdens that were placed on the Jews without condemning the WTBTS. And, then finishing with members of the right religion would demonstrate true faith in Christ if they could respond to Jesus Christ like Simon Peter did in John 6:68-69.

Get them to read Isaiah 43. It clearly tells you who God's witnesses are.
What I'd like to know is ... does anyone know your GF has a BF? If so, how are they allowing her to give a talk? Is she a good example ... and ... still fading?

I have my meeting tonight I copied & pasted your talk...It is great & hope it does open some eyes...this is what JW's think, they worship Jehovah but respect & imitate Jesus. Satan approached Jesus many times.., yet I do remember Satan approaching God in the book of Job. They also feel that Satan doesn't care if you worship Jesus, as long as you don't God. I don't know what they think of the scripture that says, "Jesus is the way"...I think that whatever other religions do, JW's have decided to do the opposite. We are going thru the Greek scriptures very quickly, but when going thru the Hebrew scriptures, we only read a few chapters at a time but with the Greek, we are doing a drive-by. This is to take the focus off of Jesus & to keep the mind control. Because some of them might just wake up & say, Hey, something isn't right here. What I get from this Jesus thing is that God came up with something different & just wondering if us humans can change. First he said to worship him, then when Jesus came he said, you can still worship me but you have to recognize my Son as well, if you don't then you don't recognize me. It's like going into an office & wanting to speak to the CEO & he says, you have to talk to my secretary, if she thinks it's ok, then you can come in. The Greek scriptures make witnesses uneasy, I can see that at the meetings. Because deep in their minds, they know...we ain't focusing on the right dude. Hope to hear how it turns out. Just thought of a funny, suppose who has the parts tonight don't show up, I made 2 copies, you never know, they may need someone to volunteer, don't think I won't use your talk..
