The teaching that worldly rulers are servants of Satan has its roots in a misunderstanding of a Genesis account. We say Adam and Eve ate of the forbidden tree and this constituted an attack on God’s sovereignty which, in turn, paved the way for human rulers; hence they are said to be the servants of Satan. But we know that “nakedness, pregnancy and motherhood” are the effects of sexual act (not of eating of a literal tree). (Genesis 3:10, 16, 20) Even after millenniums, the Hebrews were using the word “KNOW” as a synonym for “SEXUAL INTERCOURSE.” (Mathew 1:25)

    WOW...That puts John 17:3 in a whole in light...LOL.

Nothing like sexual intercourse with god.

Ask him if Jerusalem was destroyed in 597, on average?

Ask him if disfellowshipped people should only be shunned every other day, on average?

    ROFLMAO

    Call me anything but average.

He said: “Organization helps people to grow spiritual, like any other religious organizations do.

Just some truthful propaganda to support the JW.ORG.

A scaffolding made to look secure and promising but in reality is quite dangerous for individuals to climb onto,

a scaffolding you wouldn't want anyone you truly loved to play or work on, for its constructed of deceiving lies and self indulgent corruption.

This elder, to use an analogy, is like a salesman for the corrupt and dangerous scaffolding company.

Fearfully to keep his job or position in the company but willing to let others peril for the sake of himself.

Religions think they are taking you on a guided tour of faith. You step on their "bus"at the church, it takes you all over the place to show you the wonders of God. But in the end it makes sure you are dropped off right where you got on in the first place: at their church door.

This guy is messed up. A true cynic.

Wow..... What a confused man. I feel sorry for anyone finding truth in a religious movement or an internet forum.

I think I understand him. He found a way to remain even with the contradictions. From lack of exposure he doesn't know that this is not just another religion. Good point about the scaffolding. Even though temporary it must be safe.

A similar analogy freed me from taking bible rules literally. The visiting pastor likened it to the frame for pouring the foundation. Once the foundation is set you don't need the petty rules any more. That got me to thinking, twenty years and counting, surely I have reached maturity?

Isn't it a problem with even the most liberal of churches to declare that, in the end, you must acknowledge their even very modest creed?

The nature of a religion is it's structure. They do distinguish themselves according to a structured creed/belief.

Finding oneself in a church where you no longer believe, say, what others believe about the bible will get you in trouble or else ..silent in the church.

    Hmm, interesting!

Rules are for babes... and the wicked.
