Well, guess if you want a free Bible with no obligations attached, better stick with the Gideons...

"Offer to individuals who demostrate sincere interest in the truth". There you have it. no interest in the Bible, God, or Jesus, but interest in the truth. And we all know that in JW land "Truth" = JWism.

Hence, the dumping of "Watchtower, Bible and Tract" society.
It's now all about the ORG.

That's really bizarre.
You'd think the last thing they'd want to do is have the typical feeble-minded tech-ignorant JW (who can't remember how to book a hotel from one year to the next) going around telling people "at every opportunity":
"Oh yes, we've even got our own spiderweb site now! It's um....Jehovah.com...no wait....it's....Watchtower.dom.....er no....well, anyways, just goggle Jehovah's Witnesses on yer spiderweb and I'm sure you'll find it!"

I believe that this refers to NOT having bibles displayed on a table which offers FREE literature. They would go broke if people freely picked up Bibles and took them. Its not that hard to figure this out you guys. Its not an effort to hide Bibles. I am sure the are encouraged to use thier own Bible while witnessing. Its all about economics. And these days who doesn't have a bible arleady?

So... every time you see them with a display, ask if they have a Bible, then ask for it in a way they can't reasonably refuse.
Bin it when you're out of sight.

@BlackSheep: I wouldn't trash it. Better to keep it to compare with previous and future versions.
