I know why BFD likes backgammon and tile rummy, she beats my ass everytime. The other day we played 10 games of backgammon and the doggie won em all. me sad. But me smart at scrabble and I kicked ass with BFD. Yeah!!! Eat your heart out doggie....
I love scrabble and monopoly, skip bo and trival pursuit and cards and darts and euhcre, if only I could win at euchre, I always mix up what is trump. dah.. Games I love. and I really like Bigfloppydog too. -

Oh, no. Sorry, but I kick everyone's ass at Monopoly.
Do 'Panzer Blitz', 'Rise and Decline of the 3rd Reich', 'Harpoon 4', 'Wooden Ships and Iron Men', 'Star Fleet Battles', 'Federation & Empire', 'Shipwreck!', et al. count?
Not really BOARD games per se (well, except 'Panzer Blitz' and 'WS&IM')....

OK, anyone else play the French Card game call Coupe Ferei? It is based on a car race of all things. Cool game, I played it with my Commander in Desert Storm. That one thing probably stopped me from getting Court Martialed (long Story).

Ihave a huge collection of insanely expensive Lord of the Rings board games, and other Tolkien table-top games.
My favorites remain the ICE middle-earth gaming series. The new games are a woeful copy in my opinion and don't come close to their quality.
Oh ICE...may you rest in peace...

I love euchre, canasta, and occassionaly poker.
I like uno, skip bo, and phase 10. I also like trival pursuit, life, survivor (yes there is a board game), tribond, scattegories.

Has anyone played Axis and Allies?
-
Xander
Nah, Axis and Allies too simple. I like A3R - fight WWII controlling the economy, being concered about armor breakthrough behind the front lines. Reserve infantry, diplomatic and economic points, trying to be as aggressive as possible and appease US to prevent early entry into war, researching advanced technologies, etc.
Of course, you'll never play it in a single sitting, either, but...ehhh...*shrugs*

It's not a game - IT's WAR (well, it is in our family)
Angharad could not believe how serious we took it.
My sisters used to work together to try to stop me winning but they never did (no one can cheat at Monopoly like I can )
