There Is No Atheist In Practice!

    1) In conscious level, everyone agrees with the principle of cause and effect that says a cause precedes every effect, and every effect is the cause for another effect/s

In subconscious level, everyone knows that if there is a cause for everything, then there a CAUSE (or a designer) for the principle of Causation also. And this CAUSE is more real than the principle of causation itself, just like source is more real than the resources!

Atheists are reluctant to personify that PRIMARY CAUSE as God because of the history of religions which became a synonym for greed and human rights abuse.

[Principle of Causation can originate only from a Master Designer who is altruistic as its primary objective is our own benefit.
    a) A lazy student who prefers enjoyment to studies suffers his rest of his life; so is the case of a lazy man. Seeing the working of Principle of Causation in their lives and seeing their experiences, others resolve to be diligent and enjoy the rest of their lives.
    b) Even Super Powers learn from Principle of Causation. Fighting many wars in the Middle East, America became tired. US President Barack Obama, announcing a shift in the Middle East policy, said a couple of months ago that it is better we try for friendly neighbors rather than fighting wars in the Middle East. This echoes the return to the age-old wisdom that a friendly neighbor is a better security than a costly war or a sophisticated war-machinery. This CAUSE produced a good effect: Iran expressed its willingness to open its nuclear facilities to international inspectors and start dialogue on even restoring Diplomatic Ties with the US that was broken in 1979.]

    2) For what man spends MORE would reveal his actual belief. The amount spent on military expenses globally per head is more than the amount needed for day-to-day living of a person! Hence the basic quality of man is that he desires peace and security. But because of the fear of domination by other nations, humans unconsciously support war. This hatred of domination by others is the result of realization that we are all equal, and should not allow, at any cost, anybody to dominate us! This idea of equality (for which even Constitutions of all countries—including the UN Charter—are made) presupposes the existence of a Supreme Father. (Mathew 23:9)

    3) It may be the illogicality of the portrayal of God (not the illogicality of existence of God) and the exploitation in the name of God that gave rise to many of the atheists. For example,

In the East, religions teach that we are all Gods (which would mean even a terrorist/pedophile is also a god).
In the West, religions teach that God had to murder the most innocent child of His to forgive the sins of some of his children (which means God is so bankrupt of ideas that He became the greatest sinner as to remove the sins of some people). And even after such a costliest act, still SIN rules as king over manikind!

If god exists, he's a dick and doesn't deserve acknowledgement of his existence. Let alone worship.

Many people are atheists because they have acquired a broad measure of science that

negates a belief in a god/super natural being.

Have you wondered why is that there hasn't been any new gods created in a 1000 years or more ?

Human knowledge against human ignorance will always win.

I think humanity is better off embracing human knowledge over human ignorance , don't you ?

Conclusion ? I am quite happy and content to be an atheist .

You say we all have to accept the principle of a cause and effect...I disagree. Reality and the history of the universe could well be beyond our comprehension. Cause and effect is one intepretation of what we observe, but we evolved to spot snakes in the leaves and lions in the long grass, not process the mechanics of the universe. Our perspective, WE KNOW, is flawed, evidence and predictions are the only means of constructing theories of worth as proven by the advances in knowledge since incoporating this process 150 years ago. On the contrary, relying on our subconscious is just plain silly and leads to tribal face painting and fear of the dark.

...but going on...from nowhere you add... that YOUR GOD doesnt apply to your inherent rules, where everything demands a cause, for your god is the primary cause. That is basically small print, because you know question one is "what caused your god?" You offer no evidence, no explination, just the statement.."well, erm...he is the PRIMARY cause!"

That may be enough reasoning for you to believe, but it falls short for me, personally. It is self contradicting and in no way explanatory and if anything makes the question more comlicated, not less.

You can disagree--that is the beauty of cause and effect principle!

Cause and effect principle is all about freedom and benefit!

    1) You know better than anybody that your present is the result of the choices you made in the past—hence it follows that your future will be the result of choices you make in the present! Hence you can have control your future; hence it is about FREEDOM!

    2) You want to take a particular course of action, and you have countless examples of people who have ALREADY taken such a course and reaped its consequences. Hence you can choose only those actions which brings benefits to you; hence it is about BENEFITS.

God has no role to play, because Cause and Effect mechanism DOES it any way!

It's not really about disagreeing, its accepting that we know nothing right now and may never know, so the most honest answer is "we don't know".

One certainly can't conclude "...blah blah blah pseudochristianscience.com blah blah so there is a god."

A refuge for ex cult members, not the best place to trial your trolling talents, why not try the cancer support forums or help the children website?

Seriously, is trolling vulnerable people leaving a cult a smart thing to do? I don't waste my time answering such silliness for the sake of the poster, its the wandering JW who has been brave enough to look at the forums today, the 'me' and 'you' of ten years ago.
