Reasons for reading about the hidden secrets of the Watch Tower religion

The volume of e-mail I have received from still-in JW's because of reading my book has startled me.

Somebody sends them a copy and they secretly read it. That's gratifying enough, certainly, but--they take the

trouble to e-mail me or contact me on Facebook, and that boggles my mind.

It really does help when an ex-Witness tries to tell their own story without resorting to attacks, name-calling, and aggressive posturing.

I'm seeing that my instincts on this were correct.

I'm telling you this for two reasons. First, of course, I'd like you to read my story yourself if you haven't already. But, also because it

is the sort of book you can send to a still-in without offending them (if they are in the "questioning things" stage.

Out of the many contacts, messages and e-mails not one has failed to say it made them laugh and it made them cry. Wow. There

are a lot of caring people on both sides of the Watch Tower walls. My hope and my quest has been to reach those people and pry open

the cold, iron grip of the cult on their minds and hearts.

What made Ray Franz easy to read and listen to was the way he told the truth. He told the truth without attempting to vilify. People respond to that. I will read your book, thanks.

I agree. I think it's good to see things from the JW perspective and address their concerns not stomp on them. In person, Ray had the same manner with JWs and exJWs; a good thing imo. Again thanks for the book.

Very good book. If you are young enough not to recall the Vietnam war nightly on the tv screen then you should read this book. If you have heard at wt conventiions the speakers talk about how they will give legal support to jw when they have to face the courts then you must read this book.

That sounds great terry , I`m glad you are having success with your book .

Would you like to share some of these e-mails ? respecting confidentiallity of course .I`m sure many would like to veiw them.

Their are a lot of books written by ex JW`s , not a few written by members of this board , and I commend that .All the more the merrier , but not all of us can buy every book that comes on the market on this subject even though we would like to . I would like to open up the minds of some of my former "associates" ,cant call them freinds as they disown me , convince me and I will buy your book. All the best to you .

Yes! Remember this slogan? "Advertise! Advertise! Advertise! the King and his kingdom."

Seriously, though--unless I mention my book every month everyday life drowns out the existence of it.
I really want it to be read. It hurt me to my core dredging it up and putting out there. It was like standing

naked in front of a crowd of strangers. But, it worked to relieve me of the rot in my soul.

It's unfortunate that books seem to be going the way of the Edsel. The crisp crack of the binding when its first opened, heaven. Good luck there Terry with the rot removal. May everyone who still reads buy it.
