The Bible writer who stuck his neck out and said works were a necessary part of a living faith, rather than a faith one talks about but which does not really exist, is James.
He defines what such works are that a Chrisitian should demonstrate, " to look after widows and orphans .........".
How much of that does each J.W really do, and how much of such works do they do for the benefit of non-JW's ?
James does not say, or even hint, that the beneficiaries of the fact that you have faith, and show it by works, should be believers.
