He actually thought of the SDAs before he could think of JWs

    ---

Technically, JWs are SDA....Russell just re-warmed then re-packaged and stapled a new label on his group and called it IBSA...but in reality, his concepts were SDA concepts.

Then Rutherfraud re-packaged and stapled a new label on IBSA and called his product "Jehovah's Witnesses".

    It's a vicious cycle...

But, yeah, it's hilarious that for all of WT's brags about the effectiveness of the preaching work, very few people can tell you even one meaningful thing about JWs or their beliefs.

The[n] he says how he really respected Mr. Eldub because his faith is so very important to him, and how that faith is central to who he is. Then he says to me, " Yeah he's a Mormon or a, ummmm a Seventh Day Adventist..yeah."

Your elder friend really did not want the guy to know that he was a JW. He was afraid of the impression it would give to others if they knew that fact about him. Guess he forgot what Paul said at ......

    (Romans 1:16) . . .For I am not ashamed of the good news; . . .

    Where's the integrity?

    Hi,

What bothers JW's so much is that they are not persecuted....they do things to be persecuted...ever hear, beat me beat me, but don't ignore me.

I'm a witness & I try to stay down wind as much as possible...I tell folks that I'm a witness, & guess what, nothing happens. I was told that the world hates us...The world ain't even checking for us...whew....

We are just another spoke (spelling) in the religious fanatical wheel...

Yeah, my elderly step-grandmother was concerned when I said I was no longer a JDub.

She said that some wonderful lady from the local hall visited her occasionally and that lady is really friendly and basically, that JW's must be wonderful because that lady that visits is wonderful.

My step-grandmother has no idea what JW's believe and never goes to church anymore and has never attended a JW meeting. She just assumes JW's are another "church" but with some kind of visitation program to make sure people in their area are okay.

All she knows is that JW's have an awful lot of "faith" and that must be a good thing.
