It may just be the books I buy but I have seen book from Wrox (a UK publisher) priced at $39.99 and then £44.99 on the UK site ... typical "exchange rate the wrong way round" thing that we get stuck with so often (usually they just change the sign so $199 becomes £199).
It's not always and Amazon are by no means the worst offenders but it's worth checking for.
Actually, that IS a good tip. I started a thread a couple of months ago asking why we couldn't link to .co.uk.
Although on your point Simon, I have so far (at least with my CDs and my quantities) been unsuccessful in finding a better deal at .com.
Must just be the sad techy books I buy then!
I buy sad techy books too - as I type this I am also reading "Cascading Style Sheets - The Definitive Guide". Talk about "road to damascus", I will never use the <font> tag again - bless you Simon!
