Wait a second, aren't toddlers at that age barely learning how to speaking? Kid won't even know what's going on, they just do what the parents tell them to. I'm sure Anilpa finds door knocking to be more of a game than to really understand what it's really all about. I'm sure most JWs will find this to be a cute, encouraging story with a: "if a 17 month old can do it, so can I" thought and taking their kids along with them.

There's a poster on here who is always on about narcissistic supply. Well this experience is about warm and fuzzy cuteness supply for the female majority of the JW membership. This experience is about the Gaffe-earning Body giving all the sisters aww-isn't-that-cute supply.

Please, folk, do not over-think this. Start on the following premises:
1.Children know everything (especially whether or not something is the truth)
2. The younger the child, the more they know.
As applied to everyday life, it would mean that a child would know the old fogies on the governing body know nothing.

Quite why they couldn't wait to fall to pieces until after their baptism like normal JWs do has long puzzled me.
ROFL!!
