Hi guys.
Just found out today that my landlord is selling my apartment. He says he selling it with me as a sitting tenant, so should be okay. I'm still a bit apprehensive as I've been here nearly 8 years and my son is in Year 9 at the local school.
My Mum's words of wisdom, were, of course, "Jehovah will provide."
I seriously used to buy into that??

If his seling it with you as a sitting tennent wont that effect the asking price? Are you on a tenancy that when it exspires you can be asked to leave.
Maybe the purchaser is buying to let anyway...lots of possibilities. If you like the place so much maybe you can get a mortgage, the interest rates are low the repayments will be less than your rent. In fact in 20 years it could be our property with the mortgage paid.
None of what happens is down to Jehover though.
If for some strange reason Jehovah does not provide, maybe your mum will help out! Praise Jah!
And if Jehovah doesn't provide... call it Satan trying to test you....and then when you bounce back - that's Jehovah stepping in again.
When Jehovah doesn't provide it's usually because you're not doing enough in his service...get your spiritual life in order and your financial situation will improve...
Hey now... Jehovah has provided for me. I followed the scriptural advice to not trust men, and to be shrewed. I stopped putting my money in the contributions boxes last year. Today, my wife was stressed out about $$$. I told her that we would be fine, and that I would handle it. Now I just have to dip into my emergency stash that did NOT go the the WTBTS and problem solved!! Praise Jah!!

When I was full in I lost a great paying job after over 25 years...at the very same time a close friend was diagnosed with cancer. Both situations were the subject of many prayers. God got me a new job...but my friend died a few months later...I would have rather be unemployed but God saw things differently...
I have relied on Jehovah and I have relied on Satan. My vote is for Satan.
In any event, the purchaser is looking at this property as an investment, you are part of the cash flow equation. Your concern is what your next rent increase will be when your current lease is up.
The good thing is that hopefully the purchaser understands how important a legitimate renter is, even if the rate is slightly less than market. Hopefully you pay your rent on time. That is pretty important from a landlord perspective.
