I was looking at pictures of Errol Flynn today. I've always thought that Kevin Kline favors him. I guess they tried to make a movie about Errol's life with Kevin playing Errol. I'm not sure if it was ever finished. I thought of you and your avatar.

Black Labs and Golden Retrievers are the most intelligent large breeds of dogs in my opinion, they are very smart unlike the dobermans my neighbor has that run out in front of cars and trucks, a death wish breed?
Dobermans are often stupid dogs, I see one of my neighbors chasing down her dobermans when they get out of their caged home. The hunting dog used to get water-fowl (German Short hair) are willfully disobedient, high energy and you better have a ATV to chase those Gray Hound wannabees down once they climb over your seven foot chain link fences.
Small dogs, Jack Russells are independant dogs and CockerSpaniels where Chihuahuas and rodent killing breeds of small dogs are great and obedient with limited hands on training. We had dogs all our lives from mutts to the Pig Hunting Dogo-Argentinas, they are great dogs but you better train them early and keep them from other aggressive does because the Dogos will kill most dogs breeds that pose a threat to you. I watched a idiot release his pit-bull on my friends Dogo to see how fast the Pit could hurt his dog, the Dogo almost killed the Pitbull in seconds, they were built to kill Pigs, so a Pitbulls is already in this killing-machines blood.
You know, the more time you put in with your dog, the more responsive he/she is going to be and behave they will if you train them early on. I picked dogs that needed lots of "hands on time", I would like to know what dog breeds you have had in the past. German Shepherds are good dogs with lots of hyperactivity, same with Gray Hounds and little Fox Terriers can be stinkers if you don't spend time with them, the smaller the dog it seems the more needy they are of your afffirmation and love. I remember a JW Circuit Overseer telling me somebody gave them a cat and they kept that cat in a Orange box covered all day, and people wondered why the couple never had kids?

Somebody a few years ago asked me to watch her dogs and house while she was on vacation. Word spread in the community and more jobs came my way. As I'm not really trained in this field, I ask individuals experienced in dog care for clarification on dog handling. I'm no expert.
