Any explanation from the WT as to why Adam and Eve did not have sex before they sinned? (and other Genesis stumpers)

  Here is what I remember from my years in watchtower land. Eve could not possibly be pregnant at the time of eating the fruit, otherwise she would have a perfect child. Therefore, the eating of the fruit had to occur within the first few days of Eve's menstrual cycle. Because we all know that Adam was a horny beast.

  ---- A side note, I remember all this from being a small child going to meetings. What a fuc*&ing thing to teach a small child.

  But this is not the big question. The big question is how long after Adam was created did he decide that he needed a mate? This specific unknown fact is critical to identifying how long after 1975 will be the 6000 years of human creation.

  ---- Are they still trying to firgure out that detail?

  It's the work people! Mankind was created to fulfill the work of God not to copulate. It is obvious, Adam and his wife (She was named Eve AFTER she sinned) had work to complete first. (You don't party during the week if you know you have to get up in the morning. You wait to Friday night!)

  Children helpers wouldn't be needed until after this initial work was completed when Adam and his wife would enjoy a period of celebration and fulfillment. Since they would have eaten from the tree of life, they would have a blessing to give their children. Now they could start a family with great enjoyment and excitement. (Remember Adam was expelled from the garden and barred from the tree of life with nothing to offer his offspring.)

  After the children grew to maturity then the children would be commisioned to complete work like their parents. At the completion of their work, then they would eat also of the tree of life. This opportunity would eventually pass to all of mankind. So all of mankind would have had an opportuinty to qualify to eat of the tree of life.

  Read Revelation 20:12, "...the dead were judged out of those things written in the scrolls according to their deeds." This opportunity is realized in the millenium when all of mankind is given the opportunity at LIFE!!

  I'd rather copulate than work. God was real dumb if he made it that pleasurable and didn't want it to happen all the time.

  "she is the mother of all living". Why did god allow this sinful woman to

  pass her sinful ways to her offspring? Why not create a third wife, one who

  would not sin.I guess after two tries God said what the hell, lets go with

  Eve and see where this will take us.

  After God created a wife for Adam, what was his first command ? Genesis 1:28 "be fruitful and become many "

  Now did Adam right away follow this pointed direction from the former GB (at this time called Jehovah or Yahwe) ?

  Evidently he already developed a wicked heart of disobedience, since he did not appreciate the kind provision to produce offspring, he rather looked after his garden. Maybe he was thinking about building a big house in this system of things, making a career as gardener or even pursuing higher education by studying too much the animals around him. Even worse, in order to avoid producing offspring he must have evidently masterbated.

  If he would have followed the example of his offspring Noah, who "did just so", he would have right away intercourse and made proper use of his given sexual organs. Then all the mess we have now would not have happened, and we as GB would not have to teach you dumbasses always the same things....

  Now, at least, learn from his bad example, and listen to us, obey and be blessed.

  Maybe, you will be able to wipe our ass in the coming paradise....

  Oh, I forgot to mention Adam first wife Lilith. Lilith left Adam

  after she refused to become subservient to him and then would

  not return to the Garden of Eden after she mated with archangle

  Samael. From Jewish mysticism.

  That sounds a little believable then a talking snake.

  The piecemeal instruction that the Watchtower gives out as teaching makes the average JW extremely confused about the Genesis story. As a result, when they discuss Genesis with someone who has read it in context they come across as hopelessly confused about it.

  There was no moment where A&E became imperfect, the whole thing changed when their diet became restricted to not include the tree of life any more. so:

  perhaps Adam found it kinkier to have eve shed those shoddy fig-leafs or skins, to turn him on for good?we are here, so it worked. perfectly. it was very good!/
