Are J.W.'s as Gullible as the Org's Writings Imply?

  The latest Watchtower certainly indicates that the Org thinks they are!!

  WHY KEEP IN EXPECTATION? Watchtower August 15 par. 4, page 15

  "The Bible leaves no doubt about what our attitude should be toward the impending destruction of this system of things. Jesus told his followers to "keep on the watch" and to "keep awake." (Matt. 24:42; Luke 21:34-36) That in itself is a good reason to remain in expectation - Jesus told us to do so!"

  Our attitude toward "the impending destruction of this system of things"????? Nope!

  And Jesus never told anyone to concern themselves! In fact, he said the opposite!!

  (Luke 17:22, 23) "Then he said to the disciples: "Days will come when you will desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, but you will not see it. And people will say to you, ‘See there!’ or, ‘See here!’ Do not go out or chase after them."

  (Acts 1:7) "He said to them: "It does not belong to you to know the times or seasons that the Father has placed in his own jurisdiction."

  Jesus was warning Christians to be "watchful" and careful regarding their Christian identity, behavior, and attitudes. (Revelation 16:15) He was coming as a thief - at a time when Christians wouldn't expect him, along with his judgment of them! (1 Peter 4:17)

  Final nail in this coffin?

  Matthew 24:44 - "On this account, you too prove yourselves ready, because the Son of man is coming at an hour that you do not think to be it."

  Since Jesus said that Christians would not know, this means that anyone claiming to know, cannot be a Christian!

  A lifetime spent not thinking has taken it's toll on the average witness.....yes they are gullible.

  In fact a JW is encouraged to apply 'rational ignorance' to anything that might conflict with the WTBTS policy or dogma.

  Rational Ignorance means that a person has made a rational choice to not think about or research anything that will conflict with the official position of the Society.

  What has the WTS done against bible scripture ?

  They implicated they know the time, made calculations on their own accord

  in doing so self identified themselves as false prophets as described in the bible.

  Commercialized false prophets to be more exact.

  The WTS exploited the Gospel to proliferate their own publications and cultivate their own self empowerment as the chosen organization. Its was all a self assuming pretentious lie.

  Jehovah never choose the Watchtower Corporation or C T Russell of the IBSA

  or J Rutherford who created the name for his indentured organization the JWS.

  They're not necessarily gullible, generally speaking but they force themselves to be gullible when the WTS speaks because the cost of examining things objectively is too high.
