Complex is one of the nicest and least controversial people on this board. There was nothing in his op that was anti-vaccine.
I'm not a senior but I've gotten a flu shot regularly for the last 15 years. I've never had a bad reaction.
I'm not anti- vaccine.

Complex probably is a very nice guy. But this OP was nothing but an open door to troll for anti-vaxxers and spread the anti-vaxxer conspiracy theorist infection, which is why it was bumped. I avoided the initial OP; I only entered this discussion when it was bumped. Save your rhetoric.

I get one every year, auto immune condition in my life. Never had a reaction. Run a flu shot clinic at work, over 400 people each year, no reactions. Never knew anyone who had a medically confirmed reaction...
BTW shingles is nothing to sneeze at...
Because of my auto immune condition I can't have the shingles vaccine but I must have the flu vaccine.
People tend to diagnose themselves for flu...not realizing it could be many other things.
Because I do have auto immune condition...other people's decisions not to be vaccinated against illness, put me at risk. So I do what I can.

Geesh dude. Compound Complex has been on this site for 9 years. He has started 713 OPs and made 10,699 posts (likely many more as some were probably lost during upgrades).
A search of this site reveals that vaccines and anti-vaxxers are one of the most hotly and frequently debated topics. And you are suggesting that dear, sweet, lovable CC didn't have ANY ulterior motives other than to start a friendly discussion??? I avoided being an ass-hole on this topic when dear, sweet, lovable CC initially posted it.
