Counteract jw.org August 2014 Campaign!

There was a letter read at the last meeting indicating a push to advertise jw.org door to door in August 2014.

Many of those who the witnesses prey upon will no doubt search for additional information on the internet.

Let us use the extra attention against the Watchtower!

- There are many of us on active on this site.

- Most of the widley used search engines (Google, Yahoo, Bing etc) show autocomplete results.

The Plan

1. A few times each day let us help inject TTATT into autocomplete results:

add TTATT to common jw related terms. For example, repeatedly searching for terms like

"Jehovah's Witnesses largest sexual abuse lawsuit"

"jw.org candace conti molested"

"jw.org and vactican pedophiles"

"jw.org 607 bce vs 587 bce"

"jw.org poor women's rights"

"jw.org tax free printing company"

"jw.org raymund franz"

"jehovah's witnesses high suicide"

"jehovah's witnesses secret trials"

"jw.org failed predictions"

"jw.org 100 years failed predictions"

Those search results will eventually lead some people to vital information from sites such as this, and prevent them from going down a very dark road.

Side note: On Bing for instance when you type "jw" one autocomplete result is "jw.org login" so we know many people are searching for that. If you type "jw.org" on Google, the login is also a result. That indicates that allot of elders are not tech savy and search before directly linking to the site.

2. Tag your Youtube videos "jw.org"

There seems to be more videos about TTATT being released each day than jw.org is putting out in a week.

If you tag your video names with the caption "jw.org" the way that

Mike and Kim https://www.youtube.com/user/kimmymbrooks/videos

Do, then they climb in the search results after a while.

3. Mirror videos that might be at risk of being removed by the Watchtower

If you search Youtube for "jehovah's witnesses deaf" you will clearly see this video has survived multiple takedown attempts over the past 2 years, just because others took the time to rip and post it.

You can use websites like http://www.youtubeinmp4.com/ to download, convert, and upload material the Watchtower is afraid of. Be sure to ask some legal advice from Youtube savvy posters on here on other sites whether or not there is the risk of certain material causing your channel to be shut down.

4. Keep the leaks coming

There are clearly some Edward Snowdens deep within the organization. If you have documents, videos, audio of organizational atrocities please get some advice here and post them to your blog or on here.

Remember, saving even 1 life from the Watchtower cult is worth it!

My own sensitivity towards the Borg has increased because of the information by way of the internet.

If this type of action steers people away from this hypocritical cult it will be of great benefit,

What a simple and yet powerful idea.

These days many use Google to check out people, groups, new ideas and so on.

If jw.org is being promoted by the WBTS, householders will Google it.

And ordinary people like us can influence what they will find.

Anyone who is passionate about a particular topic can write good content which Google is designed to recognise and reward.

Just search for "rhetorical fallacy" using inverted commas and see what comes up in the results (roughly second from the top)...

And besides, if they wanna advertise a website, the worst way to do it door to door! What about Facebook, Google ads, even a bloody billboard! Idiots. They're not gonna make converts with the internet because someone came to their door to tell them about a website.

Even without any active effort from people here, this thing may well blow up in their face. Anyone who vistis the official site once and then wants to go back in the future and googles Jehovah's Witnesses in order to do so will get TTATT hits on the first page, and the curious will surely click them on...

I wnat "In".....to start the process I opened an account under an alias......Ihave cruised thru the nausea-inducing site but have yet to find a search bar to enter questions. Anyone help me out?

@Julia their advertising of the website is going great. Look at Alexa.com or Statscrop.com to see the results. They are ranked within the top 2000 of the worlds most populair internet sites. There are literally 100's of millions of sites. In the category “Religion and Spirituality” there are about 87,000 websites, including those of the world’s major religions (like for example vatican.va) as well as religious publishers and other similar organizations. On that list jw.org ranks second. The only site in that category that tops the is the bible itself. Biblegateway.com

Last January (with the issue of Awake magazine about JW.ORG) JW.ORG had an average of over 1 Million unique visitors per day. I can assure you that this coming august they will do better than that.

A couple of hundred or even thousands apostates trying to manipulate search results will be not more than a drop in a bucket.

The LDS beat out JWN and I suspect it's because the members of both Mormon and Jehovah's witnesses exclusively go to their own site and not others. Most other people are more diversified in their interest and use multiple sources to get information. Jehovah's witnesses are strongly advised to ONLY go to the 'mother' where all research has already been done for them. The hits are from the members mostly.

Former Jehovah's witnesses do not suffer from megalomania. We know that we are in a very small minority place trying to battle a monster who has broken our families apart.
