Little Emeth says, "Give up! You can't do anything about mean old WT so why bother? You are all megalomaniacs!"

Is every person posting here suffering from this Emeth? How could you possibly know this?

@fiddler No the mormons did not beat JW.ORG ! Compare the ranks of both sites and you will see. The last 12 months the rank of JW.ORG was constantly higher than LDS.ORG

the average ranking (last 90 days) in the world of LDS.ORG is 2269

And the average ranking (last 90 days) of JW.ORG is 1815

On statscrop.com (which use data from alexa.com) you can see what the position was over a longer time.

Also LDS.ORg gets its visitors mainly from the U.S (76%) and just a few other countries

JW.ORG gets its visitors 22.7% from the U.S and the rest 77.3% from other countries

Why does it take around 100 years of 10 hours per month of door knocking to create one brand new follower of the Watchtower religion and its OctoPopes?

I was wondering if the WBTS has far more detractors than ambassadors thanks to the efforts of thousands of ordinary persons who took the time to articulate exactly what is wrong with the Watchtower.

Maybe by a single question, in a conversation, a phone call, an email, a blog post, a forum post, a video, a bumper sticker, a newspaper article, a television interview, a book or a website.

Persons like Ray Franz (CoC, ISoCF), Barbara Anderson, Paul Grundy (JWFacts.com), Randall Watters (freeminds.org), Simon Green (JWN), Jim Penton (Apocalypse Delayed), Don Cameron (Captives of a Concept), Bill Bowen (Silent Lambs), "John Cedars" (JWSurvey), and the good folks behind sites like Perimeno.ca and JWstruggle.com, and so on...

None of us are perfect. We have all stumbled and fumbled at some point on the journey.

I thank God for each and every person's efforts, no matter how big or small.

I thank God for their courage.

I thank God for what I have learnt from each person I have come across.

I thank God they exist, and chose to make a difference.

Without them I would have been alone, without anyone to affirm my rather weird experiences.

They were a big part of my recovery from Watchtower imposed voicelessness.

IMHO Alexa is not the be all and end all of web site stat monitoring since it's stats capture depends on the user having the Alexa toolbar. It's of interest and of some consequence but not 100% proof of the rankings of any given site.

Regardless the stats it has gathered do point to a interesting extrapolation that users with no or some college education are over represented and those with graduate or full college education are under represented.

@clarity - thanks, that was an oversight. I was very sleepy

@emeth - If there is a steady volume of searches with certain keywords for the next few months, then the auto-complete results will show up before August, when the average unsuspecting Joe is searching for "jw.org". Even if those results are influenced back to only positive data one week after the start of the campaign, the damage would have already be done. It's not rocket science, it's force multiplication, and being willing to try something different and compare results. Think of it as planting stickers with messages along the path before a race starts.

I wonder how much of their high traffic is attributed to menatally diseased apostates like myself? i hear here first when the new mag is posted. Means that we are watching it closely adding to their traffic bump.

Amazing how in 20 years the JW's have gone from demonizing internet witch hunts against members having internet......to I predict, pronouncing those not regularly visiting the JW.Org site, not mentioning JW.Org by witnessing, and those not having a JW.Org bumper sticker as being spiritually weak.

    What a ridiculous cult.
