quellycatface - I think this idea has been run before and while the sentiment is admirable I remember the weight of opinion was that you would be doing the WBTS a favour by confirming the persecution complex...but don't let me stop you maintaining you rage...I would love to be able to do something concrete to help bring down the evil empire...

I think one of the most effective placards I have seen stated "Your Children Would Rather be Playing"

the usual, get some placards printed, a few lumps of 2 be 1 , some nails and bingo you have all the tools for your first "picket", wont do much though, it reinforces their stupid persuction complex, the best tools for getting them to think is the "google button"

You'd probably be better off striking up conversation with random JWs and passing out older copies of questionable Watchtowers and the JWFacts one page quick sheet.
Here's an idea. Set up a literature cart displaying all our apostate literature. Make it look reminiscent of the JW.Org carts.

If you picket it will never get better.

Hi quellycatface, Although picketing an assembly will probably just feed the persecution complex of JWs' cult personas, I wonder if there are ways to present information to JWs that will not make JWs summarily dismiss it.
You probably would be better off attending the assembly and placing business cards with your favorite websites like www.jwfacts.com, www.freedomofmind.com, etc with QR codes in bathrooms or in WTBTS propaganda.
If you have JW family attending an assembly, I guess carrying a banner with "Hi Mum and Dad, Enjoying life free from the Watchtower" would not feed JWs' cult personas' persecution fears.
If you are willing to spend ~$200, you could set-up a literature cart with books by Steve Hassan, Raymond Franz, Don Cameron, and other cult experts and give away flyers/business cards where to buy books and/or e-books. I doubt many JWs would take any flyers, but displaying a large selection of books and giving away flyers with website names like www.jwfacts.com, www.freedomofmind.com, etc. may peak JWs' curiousity.
Peace be with you and everyone, who you love,
Robert

I just want to make a difference.let people taste the freedom I now enjoy.I like the idea of business cards left in the restrooms.
Or even leaving them on trains going to that station, hotel lobbies, restaurants.Hey!!! I think we got something here folks!!!
