And the term fairy tale is just an expression. My oringinal statement was that his story is a fairy tale compared to some I've known. Meaning this story isn't that horrific to me because of my experinece with people.

I don't know you and I don't know Hygh. You may know him better than I do.

Put simply, I was saying that someone can tell a story of their life and we can all choose whether we believe them or not. If we don't then we don't, but we shouldn't start saying that they are a liar without having enough proof.

Lets say you are right and Hygh is just looking for sympathy. Well, so what? I'm happy to have made his day better by giving him a little TLC.

Its clear that you want to put other people down (both Hygh and myself) but you can't take it when we respond.

Lets just be good children and stop slagging each other off. Oh and you might want to work on anger management.

(((((sirona))))) several of us have had to learn the hard way that certain people here just enjoy arguing and get off on the back and forth bickering and will keep it going no matter what. they arent worth it so for your own peace of mind just teach yourself to ignore things that are said by certain people even when it is painful to see or hear. its difficult for me but i know that feeding trolls is exactly what keeps them going. just remember you cant reason with a troll. and there are many kinds of trolls.

OMG I must say I'm truly SHOCKED with some of the behavior I've seen in this thread. We're all adults here and we should be able to act like it!!!!

First off this was not a thread about whether his thread is true or not!!! Hy posted this thread because he was tired of going over his 'story' several times, whenever he met someone and asked him questions. That's the same reason I typed mine up and put it on my website because quite frankly it was far too emotional to keep having to go through it. So Hy posted his story because people wanted to hear it. There's no point in reading anything more into it because he doesn't say his motivation.

I've heard worse stories (not too many, but a few) but that in NO WAY invalidates his story. You've heard worse, soo what it's still worse then most of us have been through. The point is even if it was a much milder story, he shared and we can comment. I'm taking it you work with people that have problems, is this how you deal with them, when they confide in you and open up do you say 'ohhh that's nothing you shoulda heard what happened to this guy....." no because that's no way to help or console someone.

When Hy posted this story he's like 'here this is what happened to me' he didn't say 'HEY THIS IS THE WORST THING YOU'LL EVER HEAR, POOR ME I SHOULD GET AWAY WITH ANYTHING BECAUSE I HAD THE WORST LIFE EVER' He did NOT do that or even come across that way. I was actually impressed with the style of the story, it did not seem to me in anyway begging for sympathy but instead just telling it like it is, and actually kept it pretty upbeat (of course it was about 1 am when I read it!!)
