Ive been on the forum for about a year and a half now, sometime under another name...and ive known the TATT about just as long so....yea i have my moments when fear and cult indoctrination tries to convince me this is the true religion and i then promptly pull mysekf back to reality. My thing is i havent regularly attended meeting for a year and i hVent been to a meeting in a month almost. So naturally i dont want to go back....dont like painting a smile on my face and doing the fake....aprt from that i see what wasting your life does to a human...everyday at work insee it. and the fact that kids will be starting school soon. You all understand. Im not making sny hasty choices but im slways exploring options.

The problem i have wth fading is it makes me live a lie.
Bothering with a DA letter is continuing to live the JW Lie.
It's their rule that someone should provide IN WRITING the evidence that they are leaving.
JUST QUIT.
You don't need a piece of paper to quit.

You need to have an exit plan that suits you and your family best. My exit was bold, but many are able to slip away quietly. It greatly depends on circumstances, personality and losses.
I think you should think about your exit carefully and take control of how you do it. I am glad I had a plan and stuck to it if your interested in my story here it is... It's 35 mins long I warn you. Kate xx

Yea an issue too is everyone loves (ha) us. Small town small congregation so they call us if we dont show....sugar coat it for the MrS. And try to draw us back. And theyre a strict congregation. Makes a fade tough so imtrying to move. Lol

thats how i da'd. wrote a letter saying i no longer want to be a jehovahs witness and remove me from your membership. they never asked why. i was anounced. i did this because i didnt was family/friends to encourage me to return. i had enough.
