My last meeting the C.O. was there he made a comment that was the last straw. He said: "We don think we have the truth, we KNOW we have the truth."

So if they know they have the truth it is a waste of time to taste before swallowing.

Can anyone confirm this? NO! Just about anything that the GB says cannot be confirmed. They are exactly like any other religion in that they 'hve the truth' and it doesn't need to be confirmed. Listen, Obey, and be Blessed. Yep!

This, of course, applies to everyone EXCEPT Jehovah's Witnesses. JWs are not allowed to "examine" their own religion.

note the condescending remark, "all persons who have a love for the truth", will investigate JWs. If you have no interest in JWs, then obviously you don't love truth.

They have been saying that for years. It even made sense when I was in.

The idea is that you took care of all that stuff when you first studied.

Too bad that never actually happens. Well it might happen but not likely by anyone who went through with baptism.

Sad, you when you are studying you obey the "suggestion" to ignore naysayer. Then later they say sorry, it's too late, you had your chance to verify that this is the truth.

Yes that quote to believe all things, all the things in the WT must be the most shocking quote yet from them and there are LOADS of competition.

No this was said by Anthony Morris...he said that that scripture does not mean to test to see if youre in the truth....we know we are in the truth. It means to test yourself to make sure you are remaining in the truth (the org). I remember the vomit coming up my thriat when he said it.
