I know of some inactive ones who were disfellowshipped because 2 years after last meeting attendance jw's saw christmas and halloween decorations at their home.

One JW to another JW in urgently whispered tones: "I've heard about a disturbing trend among the brothers and sisters in Europe: Some of them have allowed their children to attend birthday parties!"
The other JW: "We shouldn't be taken by surprise. It is only further proof that we are so very very deep into the time of the end and that Satan is going all out to get us to compromise our righteous standards! I shudder to think how very sad Jehovah must feel when he sees little ones blowing out candles."
