You can bank on that, every bit as assuredly as the term "governing body" will be mentioned at the assembly....and mentioned....and mentioned.....and mentioned....

It just kills me that the WTS thinks that going to Atlanta is a "unique alternative".

Like, "Hmm, I want to take the trip of a lifetime. Should I go to Bali? Australia? on a safari in Africa?....Wait! I've got it! I'll go to Atlanta in July! It will be a 'unique alternative' to actually feel my eyeballs melt!"

Good point, all the faffing about with invites and acceptance. But you forgot about the application form that needs to be submitted by the 24th March, it won't be a simple RSVP, it will probably be more like a pioneer form asking questions about spiritual activities and if you were DF'd less than five years ago.

Only the exemplery can be delegates, WT want to it to sound elitist so its more desireable. Well I won't be going anyway I am in the UK and I am not going to one here.

So let's get this straight. We never bothered to reply to your application - didn't even say " thanks but no thanks " so that you could finalise your plans. But we expect an IMMEDIATE ( in capital letters ) reply to our wonderful offer.

Why would anyone from Europe want to come to the U.S. for a convention. Most Europeans come here for Disneyworld, or to visit NYC. No wonder they are trying to fill the US Int'nl Conventions with U.S. delegates....how pathetic

I wish I was going there, but I'll be in New Orleans. It's the closest one to me. I told myself I have to stick around to see what happens at this year's DC. 100 years in the making....I'm sure they'll make asses out of themselves. Now if I can only sit through the propaganda. If I can't, Bourbon Street is not far away.
