Yep If it is true then that should guarntee at least 4 times as many JWs will watch it instead of the many who would other wise not even know anything about it at all. Free advertizemant and publicity that the WTS would be giving Date-Line and it will do nothing but boost the ratings.

If I were scheduled to be on Date-Line I would be enjoying it.

Alan, obviously d'fing the whistleblowers is insane, in light of what is happening globally at present. I can see the WT reasoning though - these so called whistleblowers, are just trouble makers and they do not rely on Jehovah to sort things out. So in some ways I can see their actions as predictable and consistent. But then I look at people like you and think - they have been too frightened of you to disfed you. Basically that's what it's come down to. They axe insignificants like David and me - but they are just a bit more weary of people like you. So they leave sleeping dogs lie. That being the case, why didn't they do it this time? I can hardly believe they could be that stupid. But I liked the explanation given by another insightful poster. If the people in the program are disfed, then the r & f can ignore what they say coz they be apostates. The Society has some recourse after the program. Apostate lies!!!!!!

    Hi terafera,

I don't think a date has been announced yet for the airing of the Dateline show. I'm going to check the NBC website and also check here, since Bill Bowen would no doubt post it as soon as he found out.

    Take care! :)

if wt knows the date and hour.

they would arrange for an special meetting if they have to... where all jw must attend, because the big A may arrive on that date.

    The 'razionalize' Jonah's incident.

    Will it work?

    One,

If there is a special meeting scheduled they will videotape it which is even better. That way they can watch it more than once and share it with others.

Someone said earlier that JWs are always very curious as to what others have to say about them...this is so true I am willing to bet anything that the night the show actually airs either all JWs will be glued to their sets (I can imagine it now) or the show will be taped so they can watch it later. I'm already hearing the 'talks' during the bookstudies and the MS meetings about how "we're being persecuted, so this is the sign that we're in the truth" and "the end must be near" blah blah blah... Yes, Alan is a dog. No doubt about that part. But he's certainly not sleeping! There are a number of mucky-mucks in the Brooklyn big house who are terrified of what he knows and says!

So true. When I was a dub I would peek into H20 and see what was going on. Sometimes I'd defend. Usually I just thought the apostate were a mess. Feel sorry for them. I wouldn't believe much of what was said. And much of what was said was foolish. They would suggest that JW's were horrible parents. Well of course I know many JW's that are fantastic parents.

But guess where I am now. Not at the kingdom hall.
