Question: Do you think a Cleveland sports team will ever win a championship in anybody's lifetime?

I was reared without a father in the house and that went a long way toward my ignorance of sports in general.

An Uncle of mine had me sit with him and watch the Friday Night Fights, that's why I liked Boxing.

So, big goose egg answer from old Ter.

Question: When are ygoing to be on Jon Stewart's The Daily show to talk about your book?

That might be quite an experience! You can just imagine how many agents contact these shows to get a boost in sales

    for their book!

At the very least I'd say any book Stewart would want to interview an author over would have to be relevent to his

own personal interests (such as politics). I can't see my topic being a blip on his radar.

But--I like the way you think!!

Want to be my agent ? :)

Question: maybe you are just waiting 24 hours to see how many take the bait, or maybe you are doing research on the variety of questions people would ask or maybe you are watching the basketball games or you have fallen and can't get up or maybe you are like me, looking out the window watching the snow fall on March 29 and wondering when this friggin winter is going to be over.

I actually forgot I had posted the topic! Blush blush. Plus, I have been furiously writing 3 thousand words a day on my new Sci-Fi book.

It is a Martian novel with all the Jehovah's Witness movers and shakers from history strewn with it in SteamPunk setting.

Question: Do you think HAARP, chemtrails and evil men had anything to do with this "friggin weather" (safeathome)

Imagine how few years we've had the technology to accurately record the weather all over the planet!

Imagine how few years you and I have been around experiencing the weather!

I doubt very much the winter or the other seasons are much more than a statistical blip on the billions of years of weather

this planet has been through. In other words, I think this is just one of many such swings of statistical luck (bad luck) which happen.

You know, like "shit" happens. :)

    Question:

What did God do all the countless years before he started creating? How did he fill all that infinite free time of his?

That is a question I've covered in my previous years Topic and it is a damned interesting one!

Until "God" created--He couldn't be called a Creator. What was he, then?

Until "God" created--other sentient beings---He couldn't be a god to anybody or KNOW anything because there was literally NOTHING to know.

What happens with this question is this. It causes you to suddenly see the concept of GOD only works when there are "things" and "others."

Without that---God disappears into a useless conceptual contraption to "explain" things.

Question: was your time spend in confinement not more VALUE personality-building than a possible stint with it's 'stunts' as a grunt in Viet-nam?

Fernando, my choice was NOT: Go to Viet Nam or go to Prison.

My choice was: Go do hospital alternate service work or go to Prison.

Most JW's don't even understand this as a historical happening among the brothers!

If I had been granted a genuine freedom to choose (I was denied that freedom by counsel from the Overseer and assistant on secret policy in private) I would have chosen Hospital Work.

Working in a Hospital would actually HELP PEOPLE instead of wasting two years of my life for literally nothing!

In my recent book: I WEPT BY THE RIVERS OF BABYLON (A Prisoner of Conscience in a Time of War) I explain from beginning to end

what an incredibly destructive policy the Watch Tower Society had created and how many lives were wasted by it.

    Question:

    1. "What is it about the liberating, egalitarian and healing gospel message that the Watchtower fears so rabidly?"

"2. Is it true that more than half the Bible's references to 'good news' are by Paul?"

    3. "Why are followers of the Watchtower so universally ignorant of the 'Good News' according to Paul (2 Cor 4:4)?"

    1. Watch Tower religion came from End Times speculation fever at the turn of the 20th century and fixated on contrarians thinking

they knew more than mainstream experts in the mainstream churches. This religion is all about being the opposite of the Norm.

    2. I think there is a general confusion about GOSPEL and good news, but context is everything. Christianity is mostly today Paulianity for Theologians. But for mainstream denominations, Jesus is whatever tickles people and gets their butts in the pew and offerings in the kitty. Gospel is "good spiel" or a good tale told about Jesus. Thousands of word of mouth tales were told and retold before anybody wrote any of it down.

3.Followers of the Watch Tower are uniquely dependent on a weird notion there is a hotline to heaven with WTS leaders chatting with Jehovah every day and giving them "insider information" on Armageddon. It is a "tale told by idiots, full of sound and fury signifying nothing."

I personally think all of us could do a whole lot more with our lives of a positive and productive nature if we'd break the habit of having

one foot in fantasy myths about heaven, paradise and Armageddon, and the other foot in a half-hearted life in the here and now.

Question: What color is your underwear?

I buy crazy underwear with big red hearts on it or anything wacky that's on sale after Valentine's day passes.

I'm the only person who sees my underwear, by the way. So, I like to laugh when I wear the silly stuff.

    Question:

    1. Are you making a profit on your book?

    2. How do you feel about the many hundreds of thousands of college students and radicals who were offered amnesty or never prosecuted?

    3. Do you think Viet Nam era prisoners should have their convictions reversed?

    1. I earn a little over $3 for the e-books and about $5 for the paperback. I expected I'd sell more than what has sold. But, if the e-mails I get are any indication there has been an incredibly positive response in the people who buy the book and that feels like a million dollars!

    2. I wish only the best for idealistic young people because their experience with noble intentions is only based on a good heart and not clever understanding of how the world really works.

    3. I think amnesty has been available for a long time. Anybody who wanted to come in from the cold has done so without retailiation.

    Question: Er, where are you?

I got sidetracked writing all day every day and only remembered about an hour ago to check JW-net. Boy was I embarrassed!
