Yes I agree with you CAA... i think fading is more stressful than just being out. At least being out you can do whatever the heck you like in front of whomever...

I also noticed ILOVETTATT that more people actually talk to me that I am out as oppssed to when I was actually at the hall making a mockery of the org...

    confusedandalone,

    That's wonderful. Thanks for sharing.

Fading can be the worst stress and stress makes you sick.

I know that feeling all to well.

I did get the whoile speech about playin gby the Watchtower rules by writing a letter etc... thing is. I wrote it and bam for the most part silence. Had I not I would have been harrassed with visits and elder and C.O. inquiries that I did not want. There was a little mishap with not signing the letter which prolonged thing s but now all is well.

    Best choice I ever made

and why is that surprising since this religious organization is run by lying corrupt fear

    mongering sociopaths ?

Who indoctrinated people with fear and guilt to proliferate its published works, turning coerced people into

their very own free door to door sales representatives.

confusedandalone, thanks for sharing. Very glad you have recovered from your ailments since leaving the cult!

So many JW's that I know have had health issues, especially anxiety, depression and high blood pressure. Always seemed odd to me that so many happy people were always sick while the worldly people I knew always fared better. Guess Satan wasn't busy 'testing' those worldly people since they didn't serve Jehovah.

A few years ago I had a mild nerveous 'breakdown'. I was having suicidal thoughts and really struggling with stress and depression. I checked myself into a mental health facility for 3 weeks. During my time there I received needed help from a psychiatrist and a mental health counselor. It was nice to be able to finally talk about how I really felt and believed. It was liberating! The psychiatrist helped me see that I was suffering big time from cognative dissonance. My brain was at war with reality. Now that I have fully embraced ttatt, I'm fine and have a real outlook about life. The "pain was worth the gain"

    just saying!

Sometimes the body takes over when the mind fails. Your entire being was screaming to get out. Glad you are better. Enjoy the cows.
