But what was written in the book (or should I say letter) of Timothy was not "God's word", it was Paul's words. The words were not even Jesus' words, however I do "reject empty speeches" since I don't listen to their bullshit anymore.

Maybe he was the "star" entertainment...

Possibly, this "one brother" was a Las Vegas Chip 'n Dale dancer, who also did private parties on the side.

When this "one brother" heard music that was part of his old job, this "one brother" found, to his horror, that he naturally, unintentionally, started to bump, grind and strip.

"One brother", thought, "On my! What's a fellow supposed to do??? "

"I do not want to stumble anybody. But I love to dance.

If I dance and it causes me to have improper thoughts about all the fun I used to have, and the 'oodles of money I just to make, and makes me think improperly of the money I was piling up for my retirement, Well, with Armageddon just around the corner, I have been behaving improperly.... So, to keep my mind, firmly on all things spiritual, I must stop all dancing.

Being a WT drone requires it.

    What a bummer."

    Oh!

It would be unwise to engage in debates with apostates, whether in person, by responding to their blogs, or by any other form of communication.

    Where`s emeth?!

    .

he has completely avoided dancing even at Witness gatheringsfor fear of awakening improper desires or thoughts from his past. Of course, Christians are not required to abstain totally from alcohol, dancing, or other things that are not wrong in themselves.

So the Wt. is saying that some in the early congregation was promoting apostate teachings. You mean they was not DF for doing that? They was allowed to openly talk about what they thought? Notice Paul was to reject such debates. Does not say anything about Dfing them out of the congregation. Oh I forgot the Wt. talks from both sides of their mouth. As far as dancing goes. We all know how evil dancing is. That is something fun to do and God does not want any of us to have any fun. LOL Still Totally ADD

Still, when exposed to unscriptural teachings, regardless of the source, we must decisively reject them.

    Define "unscriptural".

un·scrip·tur·al ˌənˈskripCHərəl / adjective adjective: unscriptural

    1. 1. not in accordance with the Bible. " sacraments deemed unscriptural by Luther "

So where is 1914 taught in the Bible? *** UNSCRIPTURAL ***

Where does it say Jesus was enthroned in 1914? *** UNSCRIPTURAL ***

Where does Jesus say only the 144,000 partake? *** UNSCRIPTURAL ***

Where does it say men cannot wear beards? *** UNSCRIPTURAL ***

    Shall I go on???

"regardless of the source" - even if the source is WT

"decisively reject" - I guess this means those of us who have been indecisive about rejecting these teachings should do so immediately

    This is an awesome paragraph!

AnnoMaly's picture really sums it. All "apostates" ,i.e, anyone who says stuff withput the gb seal of approval, are obssesed with spreading their poisonous teachings.

If you really want to remain steadfast in the truth you need to follow the example of the brother in the beige suit and completely ignore anything anyone says that you don't want to hear about your religion. And don't forget to do as the older brother does in the picture and stop any young, still learning, jws even think about hearing both sides of the argument. If you do this Jehovah's heart will be glad and he might not kill you at Armageddon (which is coming soon btw, probably next week but we aren't promising anything).

I'm glad im not going to be at the meeting when they study this because i know we'll spend a good 10 minutes listening to the dumbest comments about the obviously staged photograph like it's from a newspaper.

We are all expected, however, to take decisive and thorough action to protect ourselves from spiritual dangers.

    .

Ironically, this includes rejecting the unscriptural doctrines, dumbass WT rules and articles (like this one) that the GB tries to pass off as "wisdom".

    ------

He's on another thread debating with apostates. You know, when a JW spends so much time debating with apostates, they don't have time to read WT articles telling them not to debate with apostates.
