Sounds like you have taken care of everything and are a strong person. You will need to be because the JWs will try to pressure and guilt you into becoming one. They also may make things hard for your husband (your husbandly owner according to the WTS) and "encourage" him to have more control over you and your decisions.

Thank you to everyone for the kind words and information. It has been making me a bit anxious.
I had my pre-op and was able to get my sister listed as the person to make emergency mediocal decisions in the event of a medical emergency. i did not tell my husbnd abut it yet...i am hoping it wont even be an issue. I am just not putting him in that position because it is lose-lose for him. He wouldnt want to let me die, but he wouldnt want to go against jehovah. anx the brothers who i am sure will be all up in the business. he would seek council from tbem, and so bad pozition for him. i took it away.
a couple sisters came over tonight to finish watching the blood video. They were all over me asling me if i made sure they knowi dont take blood.
I changed the subject to all the things we did talk about the surgery. I just dont understand!!!!!! they dont give up!

everything is completed without any issues. the surgery went without a problem, i am now home as of today and while i am still weak and in pain i already feel the difference.

Welcome Hey There! I am glad to hear your surgery went well. I wish you a speedy recovery.
You did well to have your sister on as the person to make your medical decisions on your behalf if you are unable.
Never let the JWs bully you. Establishing boundaries with them is wise. If they keep harrassing you it may be a good idea to tell them so and that you will be involving the authorities if they do not cease.
When I was a teenager back in the '70s the "Absolutely No Blood Policy" was introduced to me. I was appalled and terrified all at the same time.
I told my Mom it was wrong.
JW's believe that the symbol of life is more important than life itself. This is psychotic.
