Nothing new to report... this memorial was not the last one (sigh) :(

On top of that, the assistance for my hall was the same as last year. I don't see how they will break the 20 million mark.

Also, with the current trend the brothers who partake publicly will most likely pass the 14,000.

How was the memorial in your part of the world?

My last one was 12 years ago. For some on this board this was their last one.

Too soon. You have to wait another 12 lunar months minus a day to say we are free of the curse of the FDS

Attendance was really high in our hall. Like twice as high as normal.

But hopefully it was the last memorial because the wts will receive some new light and decide to come clean about screwing people over for the past 100+ years

Ours was slim, but we had the late shift. Many older ones are choosing to attend earlier meh-mori-hells with different congregations. Probably because the WTBTS makes nor real provisions for the Elderly. Last year, a Sister who should not be allowed to drive was in an accident on the way to the meh-mori-hell. She killed her passenger and had emergency surgery, missing the meh-mori-hell, the most sacred night in all of Dub-dom.

Nice one angels... I guess those RNWT's needed to be completed and the Myanmar chickens were not horny enough.

A diehard JW in my family made the infamous true believer comment a couple of weeks ago, "This will probably be our last Memorial before the end..." I just roll my eyes and leave the room when that kind of mess is started. I try hard to never argue with delusional types, but another JW family member, one who is still in, still believes, but isn't completely braindead and has moments of clarity jumped their case and told them, "don't say that. Saying those things is what makes people think we're crazy. We don't know when the end is and pretending to know only makes things worse, so knock it off".
