I can't stand it!!! anytime we get together with some Jdubs, you always find one nut case who is talking about how close the end is and how we should follow the FDS.

I forget who said the biggest mistake of the WTBTS was claiming to be the sole channel of truth, but I agree. Had they just claimed to be "truth-seekers" like the now demoted CTR, then they would not have to be in fear of being exposed as liars. That fear is what motivates many of their abusive behaviors.

Thanks for telling us this. It shows there are some JWs who don't pay attention to stupid KMs. The Km was just suggestive when it asked the question "Will this be our last memorial?" This kind of propaganda can send many JWs into cult mode. Happily your family member brought them back down to earth.
