Everyone, USE EMAIL for crying ourt loud, better yet, edit your posts if it isn't too late.

It won't be easy ever agian to get a program to air our stuff if we ADVERTISE that we're taking money away from them.

Can you buy copies from dateline over the internet?

I believe you can...but just keep this stuff off a major board like this.

And don't forget peoples, Europe mostly uses PAL format...US an Japan uses NTSC, and FRance I think uses SECAM...

Good point - I think the more copies that are bought off Dateline then the more it will confirm the large interest in the programme and perhaps encourage them to make others?

We'll buy one and also inquire about making some clips available online with links to them to buy the full copy.

Not only that but I don't think it is very expensive at all to buy copies from the show. I think the last time I did that the cost was only around 15-20.00
You can figure on spending that much in the cost of duplicating and mailing.

Board members might think to call this number sometime this week to ensure that the segment on the Watchtower becomes one of the "selected segments."

Since I STILL don't know how to work my VCR , that's what I'm planning to do!

Well, I tried to buy a copy of 20/20 program last year from ABC and they wanted 35.00! I couldnt believe it! I even wrote them a letter saying it was shameful of them (The program in question was about orphanages in Romania, and I made the objection that for what they charge for a video, 100 kids could have been fed-or something like that)

Anyway, I know it's a different network, so who knows (I guess I could call the number, but I'm lazy!)

Dont forget that you are looking at costs for producing a very small number of copies compared to commercial film releases and the like. The charges seem appropriate considering - it's not like you are buying a WaltDisney film which is going to sell millions of copies (which can be made more cheaply).

Like most things (eg. printing) limited production runs cost more money.
