I said, "accept the possibility." I didn't say that you should accept anything unproven as fact. I would think that zero humans continuing to evolve, as if we have reached the pinnacle of human ability would be the impossible scenario.

If you can accept that over countless years, huge dinosaurs became birds, why is it so hard to accept the possibility that some humans have evolved unique abilities that we cannot explain yet?

One has evidence, the other has multiple tests debunking the claims.

There are always charlatans and snake-oil salesmen and smoke and mirror types. That doesn't explain away the examples that Vidiot shared. Just because some abilities have been faked, doesn't mean they all are. Even when Science does examine something and prove that it happens, they can't always say WHY.

None of those abilities are unique, just extreme versions of abilities most people already have...

I read the article Vidiot linked.

There were no superpowers, only examples of people at the far end of the bell-curve.

Viviane - "None of those abilities are unique, just extreme versions of abilities most people already have..."

Kinda like feathers aren't unique, just extreme versions of scales?

Not at all like that, Vidiot. Feathers and scales are made of the same material but assembled differently. These are the same abilites, just an extreme versions.

"There were no superpowers, only examples of people at the far end of the bell-curve."

Exactly. I never mentioned super powers. You would need to prove with absolute certainty what a "human" is capable of to say what is and what is not a "super power." That has not been done, nor can it be, since "eveolution is ongoing. In fact I said that all the "Hollywood" stuff was extreme.

Was the T-Rex a super powered Raptorex? I guess you could say that. Is the horse a super Eohippus? What happens when more and more people are born at the far end of the curve? Remember, evolution is gradual. Who is to say that humanity won't look back 200 years from now and comment on our last 200 years, commenting on our "evolution?"

But you said in your OP - " abilities like, telekinesis, pyrokinesis, telepathy, ect, "

They are super-powers that exist only in fiction.

Who is to say that humanity won't look back 200 years from now...

In what physical ways do you think humans have evolved since 1814?

    So your OP was self-negating?
