I had the "Privilege" of Being on a circuit assembly part when I was 16.. It was a "Serve God in your youth" or something along those lines part..

I was a Regular Pioneer, so OF COURSE I had to provide answers like "I have been so encouraged" & "it's wonderful to spend so much time in Hot cars, baby sitting pioneer sisters brats" and all those blessings that come with "Pioneering" as a youth.

Honestly I only remember one specivic thing, from the interview..

There was an older Brother in my hall that had encouraged me to Pioneer, so I wanted to give him a shout out from the stage... I also wanted to give people a Jolt.. This older brothers name was Richard Springer, everyone in My congregation called him Dick.

So when the brother on the stage asked me.. - "So how have the older ones in your congregation helped you, in expanding your ministry"

I answered - "Well so many have encouraged me and assisted me, but Brother Springer in particular has helped me.. Several times a week Dick will help me practice my presentation, and Dick has giBen me valuable advice.. And Dick has really taken an interest in my spiritual growth.."

LOL - I Said dick 3 times from an assembly stage! YESSSS

Ugh.. At least I didn't say, "Well first I want to be a MS, and then go to MTS , and then be an Elder, and then the CO and then a CO then a DO, then well u get it.

I wonder what happened to that family? They went back to Arizona. Nice folk, the Dad gave me a U.S. cent as a momento. I kept it for years before it got lost in house moves and such.

Stories, and Memories shared between people that mutually Love one another, and care.. Care not because they want to get A reward, or beef up their resume.. But rather they care because all Humans are our Brothers and Sisters, and the law is in our hearts to love. - It's the little things that give people hope, and stick with them when The Dark Clouds role in again.

Heres a REAL Experience that I recently had... I believe that Matthew 5:42, is one of the most important scriptures.. " Give to the one who asks you" and I have determined that it is literal..

After leaving Wal Mart the other day there was a Homeless man and his wife sitting in the Median, I reached into my wallet and took out all the cash I had on me ($2) - I handed it to the man, and we locked eyes (He had beautiful blue eyes, but his face was Dirty & Cracked) - He said " Thank you so much Brother, it will come back to you" That was a really emotional moment, that has effected me deeply.. And it was that experience that prover to me that Matthew 5:42 is the truth, from God. - I hope that if enough people help that man, he too will find hope.

Sorry to take this sarcastic topic off topic, the U.S. Cent memento that the Dad gave to Punk and that Punk cherished and kept for so long is touching., that too is love.

Obj - Yes it was a wonderful memory. The son of the cent giving man was my age. I got to play with American toys which were a nice change to Brit ones.

This was the first black family I'd ever met. I later went on to marry a black girl and have 3 mixed race kids..............I'm not suggesting that this played a part in that but who knows.

The GB determined that if it is your first marriage, and you are married another JW it is admissable, to turn the radio up an additional 3 HZ

This was previously understood as being 3 HZ lower based on

Isaiah 30:29 You shall have a song as in the night when a holy feast is kept, and gladness of heart, as when one sets out to the sound of the flute to go to the mountain of the Lord , to the Rock of Israel.

When my husband worked very hard installing a new waterline to a old house that his book study person told him about, a
"elderly sister" lived in with her niece , I suppose the girls husband, and her new baby. Thiis was in 2011 when my husband was studying and diving into the old familiar JW land. His nature is very giving anyway, and this project was supposed to be a day and lasted more than a week. ( We could NOT afford that) . When he finished the young girl cried happy and thankful tears, and husband/boyfriend would wander around behaving basically usleless as he had no job and didn't help worth a flip.

Later when my husband relaayed to the study paartner the story of putting in the line ,how well the water now worked for them, the study partner said
" You will be so blessed for doing that." I was so proud to hear that my husband had told him in an irrritated voice ( it is how he said it to me) " I didn't do it to get a blsssing, I did it because they needed me to help them."

I Hugged him so tight and said EXACTLY, that is what we are ALL supposed to do for each other.

I am not sure if the meaning came through to my husband of the difference of expectations for "doing" ,and doing just because, just because it was right and needed. I hope if it didn't then, it will someeday. He looked at me a bit confused when I was gushing out my praise at him.

This is the reason I married this man. Inside he is a very good man. The infection of the WT is what might infect our marriage too much, but I am still holding out and fighting the good fight for my hope that soon, he will again see the difference, only with the reality of the difference of the infectious and harmful WT defined this time.
