Freedom/a tool.
I certainly would not be able to do what I'm doing now without it (putting myself through school).
Not the most important thing in life, but it sure as hell helps if it's there when you need it.

Like right now money for me means that I can pay accomodation bills at the university and having some food in the fridge. Survival, i guess.. But it's also fun, being able to be independent it's like a real life video game

It represents to me a improvement over the bartering system method of trade. It represents a system that mankind has come up with to make life more convenent, and full of creatue comforts.

This is why the CEO/Governing Body that is keeping watch over JEHOVAH'S tools that his earthly organization has possession of need to be fired and sent to the scrap heap for costing his earthly organization so much loss it's terrible next they are going to scam the rank and file with more money making schemes to cover their losses over the Child Molestation($28 million in Fremont CA) lawsuit they made his organization face and pay, Jesus is pissed over that because he gave them explicit instruction to look after the poor and to love the children, but they were too worried and they just wanted to bury their heads in the sand's of denial.

Money gives you a certain amount of freedom.
All the other things we need to be happy in the here and now do not all require it.
Money makes being utterly miserable happier than misery in poverty.

LOL, good advice from the OP. Over a lifetime, property probably is the best & safest investment. I threw away my chance to make money- to become a redneck/hippy; but even being a hippy costs money these days and I think that as I get older, not only is it harder physically to do everything myself but mentally it's increasingly a drag as well. Driving a clunker and fixing things myself isn't too bad, but having money to throw at an unsolvable problem is a good feeling too. Sometimes I wish I wasn't such a socialist... in a capitalist society.
