Neurosis is a class of functional mental disorders involving distress but neither delusions nor hallucinations , whereby behavior is not outside socially acceptable norms. [1] It is also known as psychoneurosis or neurotic disorder , and thus those suffering from it are said to be neurotic .

The GB are psychotic over their thoughts about an angry God who is going to destroy the whole world. They see dangers and threats where their are no dangers and threats. What a waste of mental processes that causes neurosis all this fretting and imagining of violence and dangers nonexistent. I wonder how many of these old geezers on the GB are ready for the 'Funny Farm' with all this ruminating about violence nonexisting?

19 Consider an illustration: Suppose that a man’s family was being attacked by a vicious animal and that the man jumped into the fray and killed the violent beast. Would you expect his wife and children to be repelled by this act? On the contrary, you would expect them to be moved by his selfless love for them. In a similar way, we should not be repelled by God’s use of destructive power. His willingness to fight to protect us should increase our love for him. Our respect for his unlimited power should deepen as well. Thus, we can “render God sacred service with godly fear and awe.”—Hebrews 12:28.

Here's a better version of this illustration that draws a parallel between this man and God :

The man destroys the vicious animal to protect his family then uses his 'army' to go and kill all the other animals in the jungle. The man uses his own distructive power to napalm the jungle. This further exposes any animals who have sympathy for the destroyed animal. His henchmen kill every last living being. Other humans who fight against the man and his 'army' are destroyed excecution style. The loving father takes their homes and all their possessions and gives it to his family and army.

They all worship this loving, protective man forever and enjoy everlasting happiness.

    The end.

Jehovah's love for Elisha moved him to send a she-bear to kill 42 children who were mocking the prophet. Even though we do not have all the facts we can be sure that those children deserved to be slaughtered by that bear.
