  Every time I submit the following update to WikiPeda - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kingdom_Hall#Funding - some poor deluded individual/s keeps deleting.

  I wonder who it could be?????????

  The previous form of funding was facilitated by entirely by VOLUNTARY donations. The new arrangement, as outlined in the letter, would be funded by one of two methods. 1) If a congregation did NOT have a loan from the Organization, a Financial Survey would by carried out to determine by means of promised PLEDGES, exactly how much each Witness household could donate to the new scheme.

  2) If a congregation DID have a loan from the Organization, the loan would now be cancelled and they would not need to carry out a Financial Survey, but rather, would be expected to DONATE the same amount of money as the loan repayment amount, if not more!

  Only the FIRST page was to be read to the congregations, as the other 3 pages were confidential and for the eyes of Elders only!".

  All billion dollar corporations try to dishonestly purge accurate info about themselves from Wikipedia .

  Several years back, when I was still an active elder, I used to post/edit quite a bit on Wikipedia. I distinctly remember having several go rounds with Jeffro.

  But what really woke me up to TTATT was not the debates with the wiki-editors that were anti-JW, it was the actions of the pro-JW posters that kept trying to dishonestly cover up uncomfortable and embarrasing issues which, as an elder, I knew were true!

  You could always try start a discussion on the talk page for the article?

  I don't really have much experience with the politics of Wikipedia editing - from what I know, it's like a cult all of it's own.

  GoUnion, there were a few things, some more important than others. The two biggest were the UN/NGO scandal and the problem of pedophiles in the organization.

  Obfuscation, misdirection, and preverication; what a terrible terrific witness they're giving.

  Jeez, I'm sayin' it almost on a daily basis lately...

  Maybe you could not refer to it as a scheme? We all know it is, but the reader can determine that if they are honest. Saying scheme may throw up some sort of red-flag. If you clearly define what solicitation is and quote the latest brochure about NEVER soliciting, I think that would be pretty clear to the reader. Other than that, keep posting it. The WTBTS probably has some Elder that does nothing but keep an eye on wikipedia.
