There was a sister in my hall who consumed the emblems during our last memorial. Thing is, she is 27. The elders didn't stop her and no one was like WTF. Can someone be anointed at age 27?
Question about the anointed selection process

She is probably just a study and therefore not indoctrinated to their twisted teaching. Go and read Rev 5:10 and you'll see where they get their teaching from. Now go back one verse to 9 read it then go to chapter 7 read verse 9, you'll see that who is being talked about is not the 144K but the great crowd. You'll also notice when reading the NT that anyone that believes in Jesus as the messiah is anointed or is part of the body of christ. Anyone that loves god loves one another or does and act in regards to god are also sons of god. One last thing, if you go to hebrews chapter 7 or 9 can't remember you'll see that if one is not part of the new covenant (jw's are taught that only the 144k are in the new covenant) that ones sins are not forgiven. So I guess that means that all these wonderful stupid JW's are just dead men walking. So I hope if you are a believer in the bible that you will partake next year. One last thing if you go and read rev5:9-10 in a greek interlinear you'll seee that they are not kings and they do not rule over the earth but reign on the earth and the word reign does not always mean to rule over someone.

The "annointed" as you understand it, is a concept invented by the WT and it
is not Biblical. Annointed with what ? Holy Spirit right ? There is no scripture that
says only certain Christians, limited to 144,000 which is a symbolic number)
will receive holy spirit and the the vast majority wiil not.
The "little flock" Jesus spoke of were the Jews, and the "other sheep not of this fold" were
the Gentiles to be later added. The creation of classes by the Watchtower is to create the
idea that you need a group of men to be your "mediator" "the sole channel of communication"
between you and God. The Bible does not say anything at all about a "governing body"
it in fact states clearly, there is one mediator bewteen man and God, Jesus Christ, no in-between
men, or leaders required. You yourself should have partaken at the memorial because thats
what Jesus told you to do, not sit there and refuse to partake. Partaking is declaring oneness
with jesus Christ and all believers as all are part of the Body of Christ, that is the message
of Christianity and anyone who tells you different is an anti-Christ.

Stephen Lett and Mark Sanderson both were in their 20's when they first partook of the emblems.

Everyone is supposed to "partake of the emblems" Jesus said " Do this in rememberance of me"
It was not limited to some special group, it was for all believers to be part of the body of Christ.
This WT belief, and refusal to partake, is offensive to Jehovah and Jesus.

Yes, do your research! The WT is teaching wrong.

Reigning with Christ is a spititual state of freedom and release from death.
It is not about lording it over or ruling others.
