BOBERT - Get YOUR PARENTS to 'phone the Branch Office, Service Department, to "clarify" if this is official company policy.
If they are not willing to do this, DO IT YOURSELF anonymously and record the conversation!
Do NOT reveal to Bethel that you are a Witness and talking about your own situation. Just tell them that you are doing personal research into the teachings and practices of J.W.'s.
I'm pretty sure the Service Dept. will deny that this is what the Org commands!
