EVERY memorial could be your last. Right?
What you are hearing is a misunderstanding of something in a KM a month or so ago that made the casual refference to it being possible this is the last memorial of jeus Christ death before the end comes.
It was written in typical WT fashion. To make people excited and feel special while having total deniability.
Will never happen!
Its the witness "big push campaign season" remember...
Whoever made up that rumour is stupid....
@Aroq is right . This possibility was talked about during the memorial talk. Something like this was said,.. 'Once all 144,000 are gathered the memorial will stop because the need to hold it will be gone by then'
Don't toy with me, it's too cruel.
The memorial will cease when anthony morris wears tight pants.
They could keep doing this in remembrance of him privately, in their homes, so that the whole increase in partakers thing is covered up. Nowhere is there a command for the great crowd to participate, Jesus was speaking to the apostles.
It's far more likely that they stop publishing the number of partakers, for they can argue that it has become a "stumbling block" for the rank & file, for it was used to try to divinate how close the Big A was.

Just this year the Governing Body directed at least one congregation in Africa not to provide the emblems. The excuse was that it was to avoid passing around an infectious disease that was around.
The memorial won't stop, but EdenOne has a point about publishing the number of partakers, that's possible. Kate xx
I do not see this ceasing and think it is a misunderstanding based on the hype of it maybe being the last with Armageddon so near.
Mind you, for years the Bookstudy was referred to as the most important meeting and now it is long gone. Young baptismal cadidates will not even remember it.
Time will tell.
