Haircut, cosmetics, perfume/ aftershave, clothes, botox, surgery, tan, cutting nails, feeding the body, showering. Is there no end to the needs of the living corpse?
How much time/ money do you spend to look nice?

I just spent seventy dollars on a haircut. I love it. Einstein used bar soap on his hair. It was a statement against vanity.
I am not a walking corpse!

I have been told it has been scientifically noted that women are atttracted to men that use aftershave.
In sweden attending the gym before work is very common pracrice, and keeping in shape is like a fashion.

Most of the time, I am at home. I wear jeans and a t-shirt most of the time, with no make-up. When I go to a job interview or a class, I wear nice suits (all of which I found at thrift stores for a song - including one Talbots). I buy expensive make-up (Clinique). I have a very inexpensive hair cutter/beautician. I don't get my nails done professionally. I don't use a lot of stuff, but what I do use is the best.

Yes Mum my preferrd dress is Armani jeans and marlbough shirts, which i buy in the sale at 70% discount. I also have an exspensive winter Jacket purchased in the sale. I have found buying poor quality clothes false ecconomy. I will get years worth of wear from my jeans, shirts and winter jacket.
When i was gamefully employed i always invested in tailored made suits. I was told that they were not suitable for the ministry by the elders. But the reality is they are an investment in the work place, as we live in a very superficial world and appearence counts for a lot.

None. It just comes so naturally for some of us.

I go to the gym 4 times a week and play soccer once or twice.
It makes me look nice, but more importantly,
It keeps me healthy.
it keeps my blood pressure, cholesterol and weight down.
When I worked, I was in law enforcement, so I didnt have to spend money on clothes.
They gave me a uniform.
Now that I am retired I spend most of my time around the pool.
Or playing soccer.
It doesnt take much clothes for that.

I'm vain. I admit it. I don't bother with designer clothes anymore tho. I used to be a real clothes snob but now as long as it's stylish and looks good on me I don't care about the label. Primark here I come...
i do spend way more than I should in Boots though. face scrubs, moisturisers, cologne - yep can't get enough of it.
