I had an Elder tell me once that God created dinosaurs to shape the earth. He stated if you look at them they are like large bull dozers and heavy equipment. So god used them to dig out ravines and build mountains. He actually believed this.
I am surprised that I survived my childhood with all the wacky shet I was taught. I remember studying the evolution book about three times and then with the revelation book about three times; it was no wonder I was confused.

I was also told in australia by young JW's that they were told demons burined the bones to test us.

It's sad that in this day and age someone chooses to be so woefully ignorant. The dinosaur fossil record is extensive and undeniable. Any museum recreation of dinosaur bones is based on extensive proof, it's not just some ones imagination. I read a very interesting article in the National Geographic recently about the western United States, which at one time was sub tropical rainforest, much like parts of Louisiana today. There was an incredible variety of dinosaurs and they are discovering more bones all the time. They theorize that since food was abundant, genetic changes happened at a fairly fast rate, usually based on traits that would give an advantage in sexual selection, like ruffled neck folds.
These people are like flat earthers, stuck in their stubborn stupidity.

I must admit, after about four years out of the borg my son and
grandson visiting the L.A museum. Museum recreation of dinosaurs,
my mind just ran away. I was told (JW) all the dinosaurs bones found
in one location,no way to know what they looked like.
I was like a kid asking the guide questions, what method do you used to determine
the age, how do you know that the reconstruction of the bones are correct.
How old is that dinosaur..Hell that can't be right, we only been here 6-7
thousands years... LOL

Jam, we were all functioning with presupositions and programmed minds, almost like robots. Don't be too tough on yourself.
Also, there is plenty of time to make up for it. This is half my motivation for being informed now.

S&R , you should have asked them why the JW`s green bible , had dinosaurs illustrated on the inside cover if they didnt beleive dinosaurs existed .

Ask them if they also believe in geocentrism.
