I'd rather have no publicity than the 6 Screens people representing ex-jws. I hardly ever admit I was associated with jws now--if he is publicly linked to ex-jws, I will hide it even more. Most of us are honest, sane people, but the public won't see it that way.

Why are legitimate people using gmail for business purposes...hmmm...so we have an option of sending our info to a "producer" @gmail.com...or...we can email it to Rick Fearon.

If a legitimate producer was looking for interesting true stories, it seems those abound on the Internet. And look who she chose first (supposedly).

If you look at the original theres a proper Email..

On the six screens version the Email is removed..

Plus in the "Can You Help" section..Theres a typical 6/S adverting slogan..

6/S may be looking to put they`re personal stamp on the project..

Not giving out the production companys name or Email..

May be the way to Protect what 6/S wants..

I hope it happens and they get some fantastic examples of successful exJWs. If I was ready to DA, I'd go for it.

my wife has had the tv on when they had a couple of the episodes dealing with the amish being shunned. if the show could just factually explain the process of a normal, hardworking person informing the elders they no longer want to be a JW i think it would be very powerful.

I have no idea who Rick or the Fearsons are (although I am not impressed with what I have seen of Six Screens online).

I just know that the people who usually step up front first on these kinds of things are not the kind of people I want representing ex-JWs.

If they get someone on there who starts talking about how the JWs bury subliminal messages in their art work, I will bury my head and cry.

Also, it is very off-putting to see other ex-JWs try to promote themselves or their new "ex-JW organization" by appearing to be the main and only contact point for the project.
