AAh, Sir82 - there is a logic to this crap.
If a child is old enough to get dipped, they are old enough to throw away their life refusing blood, and OLD ENOUGH TO CONSENT TO IMMORAL RELATIONS WITH AN ADULT. So if as many kiddies are baptised as possible they can say (hand on heart) that little ones are rarely abused in the "christian"congregation.
And as for "beleive it or not WE work hard during the day" how is sitting and talking about oral/anal/masturbation, being away from home turning married people into raging homosexuals and pedos hard work - I thought they loved that stuff so it isnt work but fun for them.
This guy is a twisted creep. whatever happened to FREEDOM OF CHOICE? Maybe the kid doesnt want to get baptised because he doesnt believe a word of their ever - changing crap.

If the organization really wanted to stick to the Bible, they would NOT be baptizing minors.
Acts 8:12, shows "Men and Women" not " Boys and Girls" getting baptized. And of course Jesus who set the perfect example for us and was baptized at the age of adulthood back then - 30 years old.
But they are a CULT and if they don't get them young, they will not get them at all. It is better to have a few drops sprinkled on your head as baby - infant baptism, but without any consequences.
"If you judge your success as a religion by the number of baptisms performed, and the group with the greatest percentage growth in baptisms is kids who aren’t old enough to know what the hell they’re doing, you should crawl into a corner and rethink your life’s work." -

I 100% agree with everyone who mentions Jesus' example. He got baptized at 30. I feel that anyone who does get baptized shouldn't do so until they are 30, like Jesus. After all, are we better than Jesus?
Also, are there any biblical examples of young children or teenagers being baptized? It's so obvious that they want young children to be baptized so that they can have that sledgehammer of familial shunning hanging over their head. The rhetoric coming from the GB is disgusting... I remember one video of a Tony Morris III talk where he stated that "they can't get in on your coattails!"
Being in this religion is like being in a dream that seems so real and exciting. Once you wake up, you're so disappointed and you feel so fatigued! You try to go back to sleep, but you realize it's impossible, so you just get out of bed. I need to get out of bed already!

Whatever happen to the teaching that the parents by their being baptised protects the child for the child in under their protection? It's so strange how this is suppose to be the most important thing you will ever do in your life yet we want children to do it. Why are they not pushing them to get married before they are teenagers or buying a house or drive a car. Oh they are not of legal age but in Wt. cult world it's OK for them to get baptised. I was 16 when I got baptised and I still did not know what I was doing. They use to look down their nose at other reglions that baptised children now they are doing it. Like it was said they are a cult and cult's do crazy things and think it's right because they feel they have God on their side. What a joke. Still Totally ADD

This sicko Splane actually beleives his own bullshit, O My God this guy is a CEO gone wacko. I hope we get many more videos of these Corporation CEO clown. Well he's doing his best to releive himself of blood guilt by not getting more tots to sign up as Corporation Lackys before they get a chance to change their mind when they get older. More young children for these Child Abusers to have control over.

Children should act, speak, and dress like miniature adults at all times, regardless of age.
It took years for me to fully understand this. I was born into the religion and because my parents were poor immigrants, I had adult responsibilities thrust upon me at a very young age anyway, so I was in many ways an adult by the age of 15.
After leaving the Witnesses as an adult in my mid 20s, it began to dawn on me how cruel it was to expect children to behave like adults during meetings. While most other churches had Sunday school or alternative programs for children, Witnesses expected children to sit like grown adults for 2 hours listening to boring nonsense while wearing a suit and tie. In retrospect it seems like a cruel and bizarre practice.
Aside from it potentially being a product of being a policy written by childless octogenarians in Bethel, I think it's also largely a product of trying to enforce a literal interpretation of the Bible.
Adolescence is a modern concept. It was commonly understood as recently as a century ago that youth ended in mid adolesnce, roughly at 14 or 15 years of age. In Mexico they would celebrate quinceañeras, which was a girl's 15th birthday, a symbol to the outside world that she was now a woman and could be courted for marriage. Both my father and mother were expected to have jobs, and indeed had jobs, before the age of 10.
The Bible was written in an era that was even more draconian. There is no provision in the Bible for adolescence as we understand it today. Therefore, the Society tries to enforce a worldview that was prevalent during that era, one in which it was assumed that a child stopped being a "child" much earlier than is acceptable today. That view is an underlying assumption in all of the cultures from which the Bible sprang.
Just thinking out loud here (figuratively), but I wonder if this isn't the same reason artists depicted the child Christ as a miniature adult in artworks up through the Renaissance?

Thinking more further on the subject caused me to imagine how far gone these guys on the Governing Body are lost in DENIAL. Instead of encouraging parents to get their kids baptized into the Organization, he should be explaining to them some safety features that the Corporation has in place to protect children from being molested by kingdom publishers, elders, ministerial servants, and even horny old Governing Body Members like Leo Greenless.
Instead he is directing them to subject their little ones to even more abuse by becoming Corporation lackys from a very young age and for the rest of their lives by being baptised into the WT Organization. These guys are 100% Certifiably Insane, and are Child Abusers of a worse sort than a Pedofile Elders that they have let run loose inside some congregations to pray unsuspecting children.

the teachings of the WTS are total BS, but I don't agree that learning to sit and be attentive for a couple hours is cruel. I think this teaches maturity to kids, and respect. Which is lacking in many western children.
IMHO immigrants with stricter cultural respect for their parents/elders are much better students and far more respectful and successful as contributors to society than their western counterparts

If a child cant legally marry another person, why should they be allowed to marry god. Baptizism in this religion is a life long dedication,of which, there is severe consequences if one breaks the dedication. Once a child signs on the dotted line by getting their head dunked, their lives are owned by a company and its rules. If I had "followed" Jesus' example and waited till I was thirty to get baptized instead of 9, I never would have done it since I left the org when I was 28!
